I love Annie's Nannies. They have been nothing but helpful in helping us find our last 3 nannies/personal assistants. We have also used their temporary services - that is actually how we found one of our nannies. I have always felt that they took the time to understand our family needs and sent us very qualified candidates. They check in with us and have always been willing to work with us. I highly recommend them in finding safe and reliable childcare and personal assistants. I wouldn't use anyone else.

I have used Annie's Nannies several times to find child care for an evening out, or for the day when my child needs to stay home from school. They are always very professional, prompt, and send great nannies! We like the nannies so much, we have requested the same ones again. I definitely think it is worth using Annie's, even if you just need an evening out and want reliable, competent child care.

No we aren't ogres (at least I tell myself that), but we have worked with no less than five nannies in the last 12 years and Careworks, although expensive, has been terrific. The remarkable thing is that all have been great people and we keep in touch with each one to this day which is pretty amazing when you think about.
Linda really cares about finding the right person that fits you. You and your significant other take both a personality and a parenting test and so does each nanny she has prescreened.
The test itself taught me more about what it would be like to be a parent and how different folks are that I would have ever though (example, if your son is arrested for shoplifting, would you blame yourself, rush to him right away,....). Not the thing you want an anxious first time dad to answer :-)
In any case, it means that you have more to go on than just is the person nice. A nanny spends hours and hours with your kids, so it is nice to know their styles are the same.

Linda Stacey, owner of Careworks, does a great job matching people with childcare providers. There is a fee, but it seemed very reasonable in light of the amount of work she puts into it. I couldn't imagine doing the background checks, sorting through candidates, assessing termperament and skills, researching the proper and legal ways to compensate people, etc., that Careworks did for us. They made the process of getting a nanny much easier. I felt confident in our choice because of all of the work that Careworks did to help.

I had a son start at CCC when he was 1.5 and he went through until K and a daughter that started at three weeks old. It's a wonderful place... They learned soooo much and were given unconditional love. It's priceless. I highly recommend them for daycare.

My youngest son went here when I was a student at the UW in 2003-2004. It is right across the street from the campus and the Burke Museum, so I got my coffee there every morning on the way to class. I got free parking in their lot. They take the UW Childcare subsidy, which was wonderful. Their fees are pretty low, and you can't beat the convenience. They had a GREAT staff of teachers and care providers, truly beautiful souls who loved being around kids. I felt like I hit the lottery here.
I also liked their drop-in daycare downstairs, the Trettin drop in preschool. When I needed to take my little ones up there for only a few hours after I graduated (and they weren't enrolled in the daycare anymore), this was a handy option for us. $6.50 per hour for drop in care, discounts for siblings. My kids still talk about how fun it was here.

Explained step by step how to use both QuickBooks for my small business and Quicken for my personal finances. Showed me how to download credit card and bank transactions and match them. Well worth the $120 an hour I was planning to pay and gave me his special $295 for three hour rate when we went over.
