Pretty off base review below - not liking Pagliacci Pizza for whatever reason is fine - but they actually use some of the freshest, locally sourced ingredients in the industry. This weekend we had the seasonal roma tomato and basil pizza - amazing. And the reason people LOVE Pagliaccis - and the reason Pagliacci Pizza received the Life Time Achievement Award for best pizza in Seattle by the Seattle Weekly this last week (Aug '08) - best crust in the industry (Seattle) best sauce and local, fresh, seasonal ingredients. Pagliacci Rules!
Pros: ingredients, green iniatives, pizza pizza pizza
Cons: they need a location in leschi / mt. baker

My boyfriend and I went here on your last day in Seattle. It was well worth it and we are definitely coming back the next time we are in town. I guess the staff could tell we were out of towners because we looked confused, but they were great. I liked the fact that there has variety on there menu. There was a lot to choose from and they also serve pasta. They also sell by the slice if you are on the go. I would have to say thank you to the delivery guy we saw at our hotel and the person who orded the pizza. We would not know this place existed if it weren't for them.
Pros: Excellent Pizza! Variety
Cons: Parking

I love Pagliacci's. If you love thin crust this is the best I've had. Have them stretch the 13" crust to 17" for an even thinner pizza. They have some really good fresh ingredients and I really like the pies with the olive oil base. My favorite, the Parma Primo, goat cheese, prosciutto, fresh basil, yum!
Pros: Excellant crust and toppings
Cons: Delivery can be a bit slow

When there pretty late on a weekday (9PM). Had a pre-made pizza by the slice (good low-cost option for a single diner) - it had spiced chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzerela, and feta. Pretty good. Nice atmosphere: you can watch folks in the back hand-tossing the pizza, and the windows were all open. Even sitting inside, I could people watch folks going by on Queen Anne Ave.
Pros: gourmet pizza toppings, casual people watching ambience
Cons: no parking

This is just another pizza restaurant. This one happens to be clean and is located in a busy neighborhood. Make sure you bring your wallet because you won't get anything here for pocket change. Sauce is average and toppings are scarce. You will not exceed your dairy limit with this pie.
Pros: Prompt service
Cons: No parking

I've eaten excellent pizza in New York. While Pagliacci manages to get the overall shape correct, the resemlance to New York-style pizza ends there.
Pagliacci's tomato sauce is breathtakingly bland. Many times I have taken a bite of Pagliacci pizza, only to find myself examinging the piece in my hand to see if there was any tomato sauce at all.
In the end, the Pagliacci pizza experience is a disappointing mystery; all the ingredients should be there for an outstanding pizza but at their best, they rarely manage to eke out mediocrity. The only bigger mystery is how they acquired a good reputation.
Pros: salad, phone operators
Cons: tomato sauce

Great tasting Za! I wish they were a bit more generous with their topings though. Check out their seasonal specials.
