Dr. Clark has been my doc for more than 7 years. She is pretty great - approachable, knowledgeable, sensitive. But she tends to consistently run way behind schedule. I'm used to waiting at least 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment time.
I've stayed with her because she listens to me, makes time for me, and does a great job of exploring options with her patients.
I've also stayed with her in spite of the mediocre experiences I've had with the front desk staff. They're not the friendliest crew. They often seem tired, irritated, and nervous. I've also had experiences where the front desk reception has neglected to pass along messages to Dr. Clark. Once - they forgot to ask Dr. Clark to call in one of my prescriptions.
A good consumer needs to decide what does and does not work for them.

I have been looking for a primary physician and a trusted specialist I visit regularly recommended Dr. Linda Clark of the Wallingford branch of Seattle Primary Physicians. I recently met her at a "meet and greet" and she was great. I'm definitely signing up to be her regular patient based on that meeting - and that's after shopping around, talking to several people/doctors and meeting a few.
Dr. Clark has great credentials - UCSF med school, UW residency plus she's personable, direct, and good for those who like the data behind the decisions. Over time I've realized I like doctors who are both good communicators and "science-y" in the sense they can cite studies and be specific about WHY they're making certain recommendations by citing data. Finding both qualities in one person is not easy. But I think I've found it with Dr. Clark. Plus she has hours after work and on Saturdays. Check her out.
