I love this clinic! At my last job, we went through a few medical carrier changes at i had the opportunity to try out the clinic w/my Regence plan. Since I'm usually so busy, it was great to be able to call at the very last minute to get in an appt. in. I never really have a steady Dr. I see, due to scheduling/availability conflicts and ended up seeing a dr., a physician's asst., and a nurse practitioner there. Each and everyone, though diff., was so knowedgable, respectful, and was able to help me when I was sick or needed anything. I really liked Jane Mcphee (ARNP). When I broke out to hives (not the little kind, but the gigantic, angiodemic, I-look-like-a-monster-kind) for the first time ever, I first called the Harborview consulting nurse for help...She was so rude to me and told me in a stern (& really mean tone) to calm down and take a Benadryl (no empathy or understanding at all). After getting into the office w/Jane, she was so nice and completely understood the shock someone might actually b goin' thru when they have no idea what's going on and they look like society's outcast all of a sudden. She did all she could to make sure the exorbitant amt. of medicine I nd'd to control the hives was avail/affordable to me, gave me her email, and was so willing to help & accomodate. Even though my co. switched to Group Health before i left, I swear, if I'd gotten sick again, I would definitely made my way back to the clinic...even if it cost me that extra 20%, plus a whole new deductible. I guess I can see why people can be so devoted to the same dr now. Once you find one that knows their stuff, you, and is pretty cool...who'd wanna' chance it w/the rest?? :)
