I just started classes here and it's truly an amazing experience! I love the atmosphere and the fact that the school has an awesome view of Elliott Bay. It's beautiful! If you have ever felt a creative bone in your body, DEFINITELY check this school out!

During the 10+ years I have consulted with David, I have rarely made a major decision without consulting him first.
During these 10+ years, I've worked successfully at senior levels in a Fortune 50 company, a major university, and multiple professional services firms. I also started my own business, with David's invaluable help. David has never once suggested I had dyslexia, or another learning disability -- nor has he said so to any of the many others I have sent to him.
I can understand how Kimberly, and others, could feel the way she does.

After having my jaw surgically broken, I found my post-op care at Swedish to be excellent. Recovery room staff were reassuring telling me I had done very well in surgery. Once I was upstairs in a room the nursing staff was diligent in keeping an eye on me in case of complications.
PROS: Highly competent, attentive staff

We have had a nightmare of a time trying to find a quality preschool in our area that doesn't have a very long waitlist. Until... Monkey Business Preschool! Brand-new to Seattle (opened in September 2006), this small school is run by a mother-daughter teaching team. The environment is a delight - a cozy open bungalow with lots of natural light, wood floors, cheerful rugs, and lots of fun and educational toys. The teachers are amazing-- really great with kids with a true passion for teaching. The amount of energy and thought that they put into their classroom and curriculum never ceases to amaze us -- they are constantly coming up with really fun and creative activities, and make a point of keeping things 'fresh' -- for example, they rotate the sensory table on a weekly basis... sand, 'gak', gravel, etc! I would HIGHLY recommend this preschool-- I fully expect that, once it is "discovered" it will have a waitlist to rival the rest!

The creative and dynamic approach of Yogi Way's teachers has allowed me space to expand my practice beyond limits that I, already an experienced practitioner, knew existed. These teachers bring a range of experience and focus to the studio, from Universal Yoga to Hatha to Vinyasa Yoga. There is a wonderful kids class and a great family yoga class that caters to kids, parents and couples of all ages. Yogi Way is a beautiful space to practice my kids and I love it. The floor serves as a mat--eliminating the need to bring a mat and giving practitioners spatial freedom.

The workshops at the Photography Center Northwest (PCNW) are incredible. In a short time often a weekend or just a few classes you can learn about a certain aspect of photography you are interested in and hone your skills. Recently, I took the On Camera Flash class and my skills using both the on camera flash and a dedicated flash unit improved. My photographs improved and I feel more confident when using the flash, that it was well worth the money I paid for the class. Plus I met some new people and the teacher was friendly and informative.

When I lived in West Seattle I used to go to Sound Yoga. I went to the Thursday evening class with Kimberly. She's the BEST! Very patient and understanding. I was brand new to yoga when I started and she was terrific. I wish she'd teach in my neck of the woods. Hope this helps!

Just a few blocks from the Faunterloy Ferry and litterally connected to the Faunterloy YMCA, Little Pilgrims is a great starting point for your little one's.
Little Pilgrims is designed for ages 2-5 and is half days only.
The cost is very reasonable and it was a great place to begin meeting new friends and being part of a group for my child.
They do crafts, sing, and take little field trips now and then. It was a choice that I would do again.
