This is a great school for serious students. The expectations are high, but the young women are nurtured so that they can achieve excellence. This is a wonderful place to grow into a responsible adult. Not just for Catholics- all religions are welcomed.

I took one of the "warm glass" classes at Pratt last year, and still can't get over what a wonderful place it is. The variety of courses offered are amazing, and the amount of one on one time with outstanding artists is top notch. Be a member, or start taking classes as soon as possible. It may seem expensive, but it's sooooo worth it. They have courses for every skill level, so don't feel like you have to be an "artist" to have fun.

More
The super thing about North Seattle Community College is that it's part of the Seattle Community College network, so basically you can take the same classes at North as you would at South or Central.
THere is ample parking there, and the whole campus looks kind of like a mall, with multi-leveled concrete-walkways connecting the different buildings. If it's raining while you're in class (of course it's always raining in Seattle), make sure to bring an umbrella so you don't get soaked walking from Chemistry to Algebra.
Their cafeteria food is provided by the Culiary Arts students and is TOP NOTCH and not expensive at all!!!
Oh yeah. The teachers are great and you get a good education there

I love this store. I wish we lived closer. I have a LOT of books from this store - can't beat 50 cents for a good quality board book. I also love the $1 rack for clothes. Its a little crowded so keep that in mind - don't bring your double stroller!

I bought a membership here and I have yet to be dissapointed. Very well staffed and the facilities are well maintained. They offer a variety of classes including yoga and weight training. The weight room and cardio room offers tons of machines and weights for everyone. Also offers 2 full sized basketball courts, a running track, hot tub, pool and sauna just to name a few things they offer. Very good.

I highly recommend this place. Be sure to ask for someone who won't make it a chummy conversation.

I visited the lawn bowling area at jefferson and I had no idea it existed before. Hidden in the back of the golf course, this place offers a very well maintained lawn bowling green and a good staff. This is a cool place to take your family on a hot sunny day if you don't feel like going to the beach. Well maintained facility.

I had a son start at CCC when he was 1.5 and he went through until K and a daughter that started at three weeks old. It's a wonderful place... They learned soooo much and were given unconditional love. It's priceless. I highly recommend them for daycare.

I used TLC several times since 2001 and only stopped because my child was too old (13th birthday). My child is developmentally disabled, and this staff was absolutely competent to care for her in all ways. She still asks to go to TLC whenever she doesn't feel well - AJ and the others made her very comfortable and safe.
