She's swamped. I went to see her after seeing she was voted top Doctor. $350 for an office call! I've spent less on a Lawyer. Anyway, I had a miscarriage. She called me 8 weeks later to give the results of test to see why I might have miscaried. The disturbing part is she told me the results over her cell phone as she was driving.
She's too rushed for me I need time with my Doctore and personal care.

I have been with Dr. Cole through 3 miscarriages. Although, I like Robin personally and think she has a caring bed side manner, I am of the opinion that Seattle Women Clinic is working her too hard and it's affecting her work. There have been several instances where I have asked myself, "Has she read my file, or does she ever update my file?" At my appt. to manange my second miscarriage, she walked in with a fetal doppler machine and said "let's hear the heartbeat!" To which, I had to reply that we were there to discuss our miscarriage management. She offering Low Dose Aspirin (LDA) as a "new" treatment each time after each miscarriage. Each time, I tell her we are already on LDA, to which she usu. has nothing to say. Currently, I've had several dr. tell me that I should be on Heparin but she refuses to offer it to me saying that studies show that it doesn't work. If it doesn't work why are there so many women out there having successful pregnancies because of it, and crediting Heparin for the positive outcome? I like her, but I just don't think she pay enough attention to the patients that aren't "smooth sailing."

Dr. Cole's been my doctor for over a year. Besides typical ob/gyn stuff, like annual exams and related prescriptions, she's also been a great resource for other medical issues. I had a crazy bout of strep throat this year that she addressed (and directed me toward a great ENT doctor when it was clear that my tonsils needed more care than she should be giving). She's also very easy to talk to, takes notes when she's reviewing your file, and answers any and all questions candidly and openly. I feel like she really listens and I really appreciate that she's very straightforward about her suggestions without being condescending.
Her office is generally friendly and efficient - usually pretty easy to get an appointment. Parking is not bad - using the Swedish garage is $2 for an hour and my last appointment only took 45 min.
