My husband and I have been seen by Dr. Penuelas for several years. We are huge fans. She has seen us through some pretty difficult stuff with deep knowledge and a gentle bedside manner. Dr. Penuelas demonstrates excellent listening skills and is very responsive with the right mix of medical and emotional intelligence. She has an excellent network of colleagues to whom she refers her patients for specific treatment. I have taken her lead and found my eye-guy (Brant Carroll), an orthopedic surgeon (Michael Watt), a dermatologist (Diane Thompson) and a plastic surgeon (Curran Smith). There are four physicians that practice at Ballard Family Medicine. The front-of-the-house staff is welcoming and professional. Call to find out which insurance she accepts. I used UnitedHealthcare.
