I asked for a Matzo ball soup and sandwich. The Matzo ball soup (being takeout and all) came with two matzo balls. I was only expecting one. It was pretty tastey with lots of seasoning in it. So not your plain matzo ball . it was also a bit on the dense side. The chicken stock was full of carrots and celery and large chunks of chicken. Very hearty. My only complaint about it was that there was a top layer of chicken fat on my soup which made it a bit unappealing at first to eat. I dished it out with my spoon and drank the rest down to the last drop.
My sandwich was good too. I believe it was pastrami. Lots of cheese my sandwich - it looks like a couple of slices at least - and lots of meat. Somehow they managed to melt the cheese of the sandwish without toasting the bread. Not entirely sure how they accomplished that. Great sandwich though - packed with good flavours.

Ever since eating at 2nd Ave Deli in New York, we've been wanting to enjoy that taste again and especially the Motzoh ball soup. This place is the closest I've found in Seattle. Gets pretty busy during lunch, and now they've take credit cards, with 47 cents charge. Definitely check it out!

Buffalo Deli has great sandwiches in Belltown. While these guys get busy at lunch time, only accept cash, and sometimes have a wait, it's well worth it! They're extremely focused on quality- the bread is fresh, the meat is good, the menu interesting. Their daily specials are always great... They even have good matzoh ball soup for a cold rainy day.
