When we hired John to help us design a front porch to replace the dilapidated brick one that was literally falling away from our 1926 home. When he finished our new porch, we had neighbors and people getting out of their cars, all telling us how much they thought the new porch added to the character of our house. The finish work was awesome and the design was in perfect harmony with the architecture of the house. John was personable to work with, reasonably priced and does incredible work. Once he finished our porch, we also had him help us with a fence and custom garage door that were equally as brilliant as the porch.

John Vidar Ljeung did several projects on a friend's house including a front porch, fencing, and a carriage-style garage door. We were really impressed with the quality of his work as well as the aesthetics so we asked him to rebuild our front stairs and build an elevated deck onto the second story of our house. As expected, we're really please with the quality and design of both projects. I'm not sure what I expected the projects to cost, but I feel I got a square deal. I'm sure you could get a project done cheaper, but I don't think you would get the same quality. Additional bonuses: 1. He started and finished the job when he said he would. 2. The cost of the job was the same as the bid. 3. He shored up the foundation of my patio, even though that work wasn't in the bid.
