As a new homeowner, this is one of the best things I've done. They've set up three repairs for me, all much less hassle than searching for my own, and all done promptly, cleanly, well.

we've been members of this club for 5 years now and have had about a dozen different contractors out to do bids on projects.
every one has been very professional, clean, nice, etc. this is a big improvement over what I had been doing before (yellow pages and little nickel ads).
We've hired 3 dif't contractors from the club to perform tasks and have nothing but good to say about the way the club has helped out and the quality of folks they've sent.

Before I found the Homeowners Club, I'd lost countless hours and many many dollars to contractors who never finished the job, didn't show up when they said they would, or kept raising the cost of the job. Homeowners Club eliminates all these problems. For $48/yr, you get a service that recommends reputable contractors for your job. You call them and tell them what you need, and they have contractors call you. (Even if it's an emergency job.) Once you have all the estimates you want, you sign the one you want to go with and send the signed estimate to the club. No more pouring through the phone book and asking everyone you know if they've ever used Andy's Plumbing service. Even better, you don't pay the contractor. You pay Homeowners Club -- only when the job is completed to your satisfaction -- and then the club pays the contractor.
