Love this location. Surrounded by beautiful buildings and soaking up the artsyness. I like to come here when I am meeting folks in the Fremont area. It's close to the water, the draw bridge, GettyImages and Google. Also in the core of Fremont, lots of little stores near by. The actual location offers Peet's famous coffee, but this location also have a whole second floor for seating. Great for chilling out or reading. On a sunny day, this whole store is filled with sun light. Absolutely gorgeous. more

Peet's is all that! 5/10/2006

I discovered Peet's on a recent trip to California - and then I discovered that we have them here! Happy day! They made a really good cup of coffee and the employees are pleasant and friendly. Cool! If you buy their coffee beans by the pound, they will grind them specifically to what kind of coffee filter you use. (I have a gold basket filter, thankyouverymuch.) And then they'll give you a free cup of coffee. more

Good Coffee 4/20/2006

Peet's is solid. I went to one in San Francisco before they came here and it was really pleasant. Which is what I like in a coffee place. Laid back, welcoming, friendly and pleasant. They have a nice upstairs to chill in. I usually meet people here because it's a great location. more

Peet's Coffee and Tea 3/19/2006

I'm a junkie. Of Peet's. Coffee is nice, but Peet's coffee is habit forming. Maybe it's because I used to live in the bay area. Maybe it's because I like to walk to Fremont or around Greenlake and it's a destination. Maybe it's because the coffee is so strong. But Peet's can't be beat. Try to sour cream coffee cake too - usually the pastries at coffee places taste like cardboard but this coffee cake is worth going out of your way for. Very moist with a delicious cinnamon-sugar topping. Yummy. more

wonderful coffee 3/9/2006

Peet's coffee arrived in Seattle just in time. For years, there was a non-compete between that mega coffee store that friends don't let their friends frequent (!) and Peets, from California. I used to mail order from Peets until the Fremont store was built, next to PCC. Now that the Greenlake store opened, that's even better since it is closer to me. I love their coffee. They are consistent bean roasters and their business model must be awesome because they have been this way for years. And, they give you a cup of coffee on the house when you purchase your beans. Would the other store ever do that? Go Peets. more

Friendly staff, really good coffee!! Cozy atmosphere. 12/28/2005

This is a comfortable place to sit and stay a while, even an hour or two. No one makes you feel like you should be leaving. The coffee is outstanding, the workers are generally very friendly, and my friend lusts after their blueberry cream cheese danishes. more

Peets Freemont 8/17/2005

This is a great location and good coffee. Just a couple of doors down from the local Starbucks, this Peets got the premium real estate. It's a great place to meet friends in Freemont, and you can park underneath PCC with ease. I've never had trouble finding parking there. more

It Was a Dark and Stormy Coffee 9/29/2004

Peet's coffee is too strong. It is impossible to get diluted with milk -- I mean like after putting in 1/2 a cup of milk it's still jet black -- and it makes you jittery after 3 sips, and they only have one store in town in Fremont and it is the least sit-and-hang-out-able place in all of Fremont, including the News stand and there's not even any chairs over there. Strong coffee is one thing; fountain-pen-ink java with enough caffeine to upset your stomach is quite another. more
