Good: Not one thing!. Bad: Their dishonesty about calling you to schedule a pick up.. Improvements: Don't care...never going to use them again.. Other: Think twice about taking your clothing, toys, etc. to Rising Stars...I took 40+ items to consign at Rising Stars and when I picked up my consigned goods on the scheduled p/u date (end of September) they only returned 3 items. When I asked where the other items were they said they were re-consigning them. I took that to mean they would be there for another 2-3 months or the regular consignment length of time. Yesterday(11/22/09) I called to check on the new pick up date...Alana told me that they had.

Think twice about taking your clothing, toys, etc. to Rising Stars...I took 40+ items to consign at Rising Stars and when I picked up my consigned goods on the scheduled p/u date (end of September) they only returned 3 items. When I asked where the other items were they said they were re-consigning them. I took that to mean they would be there for another 2-3 months or the regular consignment length of time. Yesterday(11/22/09) I called to check on the new pick up date...Alana told me that they had called on October 15th to have me pick up my goods. I never received a call and am assuming that because they were in the process of moving to their new store they either didn't bother calling me, kept my things or lost them. They have my office number on file and if I am unavailable, it automatically goes to voice mail, so there is no possibility that I could have missed that call. Anyway, they have washed their hands of offering my any reimbursement for my goods and only reiterate that the are not responsible for you not picking up your goods when they tell you to. Don't ever let them re-consign your items...pick everything up and bring them back at another time so they don't have the opportunity to steal your goods.

New items are pricey but they are a small independent store I want to stay around. Their inventory is unique and of high quality. Toys are interesting and promote creativity. It's not your standard stuff. Give them a look!
