This is the best place to shop for my kids and for gifts for my friends and family. They have a really great selection of rock shirts, designer dresses, cool shoes, cutest vintage clothes!
My favorite aspect of Poptots is that they are right next to Whole Foods, so I don't have to drive across town to shop...I just walk across the street!
My favorite kids store in Seattle! I highly recommend it!
Pros: Most unique selection
Cons: the neighborhood needs more cool, hip shops...more reason to walk around.

I love this shop. I can get brand name clothes without spending a fortune. They only accept freshly laundered and in good condition clothes. You can be assured you will be getting nice clothes for a good price. They have monthly specials for certain tag colors. It is a good way to take in your gently used items and pick up a few in the next size... Great way yo go green!
Pros: There are so many toys and books, it keeps your kids entertained while you shop.
Cons: Ths store is a little tight.

Now, I know what you're thinking and it's not that. Bootyland is THE place to shop for those fabulously hip kids in your life. Whether it's vintage dresses from the '50's, '60's and '70's or it's a "vintage recycled" black slip dress, you'll find all you need for your mini-fashionistas! Bootyland supports our local designers (many of them mothers of young children themselves) by selling their wares. You'll find messenger bag-style diaper bags decked in funky flowers or spooky skulls. Baby slings in all colors and patterns for "wearing your baby" close to you. You'll find previously loved clothing in the back of the store that is reasonably priced and fashion-friendly as well. Bootyland is owned by Ellie Cassidy who has created a true community around her store. On any given day, you'll find Ellie's children playing happily with the children of customers, or the children of friends who stop by just to chat. She also employs young mothers who bring their babies to work with them. It's typical to see a young mother with her infant in a sling as she sorts clothing and rings up customer's purchases. Whether you're a first time mother, or a seasoned parent of multiple kidlets you'll love shopping here. Visit Bootyland for your baby shower, birthday and new baby gifts as well!!

I lived near this place for the longest time in Capitol Hill, but never had reason to go in (no babies in my family) until recently. My aunt's new baby boy turned a year old this month, and I was excited to come in here. I ended up buying a tiny Ramones T-shirt, soo cute! I definately recommend this place; very unique items you won't find anywhere else.
PROS: Adorable clothes for tots.
CONS: No cons, I love this place!

I have been a loyal customer of The Shoe Zoo and have followed them from place to place. I have never had such great service and selection at any other children's shoe store. The variety of shoes, knowledge of staff, and atmosphere are unbeatable. My kids will not let me purchase shoes anywhere else (maybe it's the cookies they receive when we are ready to leave), but whatever it is, I love this store!

I do not have a Gymboree store in my city. The store I usually shop at is in Huntington, which is about two hours from my house. Every time we travel to Huntington to see my family, we stop by the Barboursville Mall and check this store out. I love how they have everything to match, from the hairbow on top of your head to the socks and shoes on your feet. I do feel that this store is expensive, so I usually just purchase from the sales rack. They usually have two round racks in the back of the store with reduced items. You can catch some great deals with mismatched items. I like to purchase the newborn clothing and keep it on hand for unexpected baby gifts. If you like to dress your child with matching clothing, including hat, coat and boots, then you will like this store.

More
This store carries one of the largest selections of boutique children brands in Seattle. When I visited, they had Catimini, Cakewalk, Deux par Deux, Soup, Flapdoodles, and much more for girls.
There were loads of neat accessories for a new mom and fun toys for kids. There is even a hair salon for children located in the store.
This is a fun store to visit because it is located in the University Village which is one of the most kid friendly shopping centers in Seattle. The Kids Club is located directly across from a small playgound.
PROS: Nice selection of boutique brands
CONS: expensive
