Penny was one of my doula trainers back in 1999. I've read almost all of her books, taken several advanced trainings from her since. Love to watch her speak, because she's so full of passion and knowledge about women and families. We are so incredibly lucky to have her. As a doula myself, I can say that I'm so honored to have been trained by her and to live in the same area of the country as her, to benefit from her wisdom and experience and to send people to her classes and recommend her as a doula for their births. She's helped to change the face of maternity care, and for that, I'm truly grateful.
