There is just so much good stuff to say about Gourmondo, I don't know where to begin. Gourmondo was founded by Ronald Johnson and Alissa Leinonen in 1996. Back then business was conducted out of a small store-front on Western Ave., below the Pike Place Market (where I had a a sweet Valentine's Day lunch with my then boyfriend, not husband). Since then, Alissa and Ron have taken Gourmondo to the next level with a large commercial catering kitchen south of Seattle. About at-home parties, I think there is no higher praise than I trusted Gourmondo with my in-home wedding reception. Five courses plus tray passed hors d'oeuvres and dessert, for twenty-six guests and the Gourmondo staff handled everything with style and professionalism. They got creative with our budget. The food was fabulous. The service was stellar. And, perhaps most importantly, the home was left cleaner than when they arrived (two or three hours before show-time). Gourmondo is the only caterer in my bag of tricks. Give them a call.

We use Gourmondo at work for box lunches. They have the best lunches. They use bread from La Panier (the French bakery in Pike Place Market). Their lunches consist of a fabulous sandwich, side salad (with their own dressing - which is so good) and a brownie cupcake for dessert. They have many different choices from sandwiches, salad and wraps. I highly recommend them. They are consistently excellent and they use high quality meats, cheese and bread.
