My husband and I went here for our anniversary last night (Saturday August 30th at 6:30pm). We had Michael for our waiter and he was outstanding. The entire staff was very nice and friendly as well. The food was wonderfu too and the steaks were done to perfection. It was our anniversary and they had the happy anniversary confetti along with 2 glasses of complimentary champagne to celebrate. We had a really nice time and will definitely go back.

Ok, it's a pretty unique pizza experience, you love it or you hate it. If you like a BIG taste-explosion pizza loaded with toppings, a couple slices fill you up with leftovers for breakfast, relaxed tavern atmosphere, good location, the Northlake is for you. If you're worried you'll get sauce on your hands, prefer New York toast waxed with tomato paste, frozen pizza, or Chuck E Cheese atmosphere you'll be disappointed. I've been eating there for 20 years plus and it's always better than good. Sometimes it's quiet, sometimes it's hopping, hey, it's a tavern not a tea house. I usually don't care for olives but we always order the combination, including sausage and ground olives, which is a perfect balance. So if you want to try a Seattle institution come on down, if you're not adventuresome you'd better stick to Dennys.
Pros: great pizza, atmosphere
Cons: occasionally noisy - hey, it's a tavern...

I went to Seattle on business this week and had a great experience here. So great, that I ate there for dinner on Tuesday, lunch on Wednesday, and dinner on Wednesday!
A gentleman named Daniel really made the experience worthwhile. He wasn't ever my server, but he helped me make good decisions on dishes and desserts. All around class act, as well as the other servers and bar tenders I encountered.
I can't say enough about this place. I've been to other Cheesecake Factory restaurants, but never one with a personal touch like I experienced here. Daniel even gave us preferrential seating...after one day! Great service, great people, great food...you get the idea!

I had Kaosamai cater a lunch for 130 employees at the office and it was excellent! I gave them my budget and they created a wonderful menu that please everyone! (including the vegans/vegetarians/gluten free people) . The food was very fresh and they were helpful in setting up, keeping up the food supply and in cleaning up.
Service and food superb! I highly recommend!
Pros: food was delicious

This is a great place for a date night, or to take the family to. Watching the chefs do their knife show is amazing and the food is so good, too! Children really enjoy this as well as adults.

The hostesses open the doors for you, and actually make real conversation with you as your being seated. Servers are honest and upfront, yet friendly and efficient. The food is excellent. I've been many times and never been disappointed. I suppose some people that complain don't realize that this is a chain restaurant, so high volume and food that can satisfy everyones tastes is to be expected. However, if you're thinking about heading to the southcenter area, this is definitely a must-try, as it is the ONLY Bahama Breeze in the state of Washington!
p.s.
They stay open until 12 on weekdays and 1am on weekends, their bars never close at 10!!

We hope they do well and keep being a good asset to the neighborhood.

I am a Food taster/Critic and I do it for a living. I've been tasting foods from around the world since 1983. I spent 4 years in asia tasting everything from Chinese, Indian, Korean to Japanese foods. My favorite however was Thai because of how flavorful every dish tastes. Thai truly utilizes all the four flavors of sweet, sour, salty, and spice. The biggest dissapointment was coming back to Seattle to taste the most horrible american flavored Thai food. It was impossible for any Thai joint here to duplicate the real deal. But when I found this little place in the Alley Mall broadway called Bangkok Cafe, that was when I found my first and probably last favorite Thai cusine. When they eventually moved to capitol hill 15th and harrison I followed.
I remained loyal for years. I am telling you all this story for 3 reasons and listen very carefully. 1. If you have never been to Thailand and had real Thai food your opinion is not credible. 2. If you like american flavored Thai food then this is not the place for you cause this is the closes you will ever get to eatting in Thailand. 3. Last but not least The owners, the cooks, and the staff are the same people from Bangkok Cafe.
Pros: Its worth walking for
Cons: Parking is bad
