Awesome food , large portion sizes , great presentation , fabulous Rum bar , make reservations. That being said , I was looking for a place that was within my budget. And this place fit the bill! The first time I went I was overwhelmed by the amount of food you get for the price. The waiters/waitresses were attentive without being obnoxious. I go there quite often with friends and on dates. It's a great place to have dinner before heading over to Jazz Alley. I have only had one bad experience where the wait staff were virtually none existant. That evening just to get a drink we had to practically get out of our seats to ask for one. And the place was not busy....so go figure. I do recommend reservations on Friday or Saturday night if you are going to be having dinner. And the Rum bar is small and gets packed fairly early , so be prepared for standing room only. Needless to say it's one of my favorite places in Belltown.
Pros: Great food and drinks
Cons: No parking

The hostesses open the doors for you, and actually make real conversation with you as your being seated. Servers are honest and upfront, yet friendly and efficient. The food is excellent. I've been many times and never been disappointed. I suppose some people that complain don't realize that this is a chain restaurant, so high volume and food that can satisfy everyones tastes is to be expected. However, if you're thinking about heading to the southcenter area, this is definitely a must-try, as it is the ONLY Bahama Breeze in the state of Washington!
p.s.
They stay open until 12 on weekdays and 1am on weekends, their bars never close at 10!!

The staff is very friendly and will take time to talk to you regardless of how busy the place is.
This is the only place since I left Miami that I can walk in and play dominoes.
Must ask for the "Tito Mojito" it is amazing and refreshing and the pork is also unbelievable.
The place is definitively a pearl in Wallingford and happens to be walking distance from my place
Pros: Most Authentic

I haven't been yet, but many who have - including food critics in town - are raving about Kallaloo in Columbia City. It was opened by a trained and experienced chef who is marreid to a woman from the Caribbean and brings her native influence and family recipes to the place. It's supposed to be great. It's in Columbia City, which is pretty easy to get to from anywhere - just head south on Rainier Avenue until you get there....
