My service experience at this store was not fun. I had to wait for a very long time and then found out that after all that waiting, the problem was still not fixed. At first they told me that the repair was under warranty, but then later changed their statement and charged me. I really did not like this.

I bought my car from these folks 5 years ago and I've been happy with the follow up service I've received. It's not quite as personable as what I used to get from my former Kirkland Infiniti dealership (I had a used J30) where the gal (Linda) helping run the service department and I became very friendly and she knew me by name, car, and more. Heck, it's been 5 years since I had an Infiniti and I still remember her name! I'm not sure if she's still there but if she is I highly recommend the service department.
The Honda folks don't know me that well but they do offer online booking of service appointments and some other services which I find very convenient. I've never had anyone be pushy there except for when I bought the car one guy (the proverbial pushy sales manager) did try to push stuff I didn't need. But, I was also a savvy consumer and knew what I did and didn't want. Financing wasn't an issue because I'd taken care of that in advance. It's always important to have your research done ahead of going to the lot and to let the sales staff know your intentions. You might head off a lot of the pushy tactics that way.

We had a good experience purchasing our van at Honda of Seattle. The only complaint would be that it took too long, but I'm sure that's always the case. There are lots of things they are required to go over with you. Everyone we talked to there was really nice. When we needed paint touch-up on our van, they were able to recommend a company that does that on-site (at Honda of Seattle), so they are able to do it much cheaper than if they had their own location.

Ha, they offer the best deals on cars hands down on the GROUND! The cars are very solid as they last for years and years. They warrenty plan is great because you can drive the heck out of them and still have them replace your faults. But don't take advantage of this because it won't last too long if you do. They also have a great staff because they'll make an effort to sell you a car even if you are just looking around.

The friendly people working at Honda of Seattle do not push you into buying a car, but instead work with you to help you find exactly what you need. They told me about the specifications of each model I was thinking of along with the price breakdowns. They also helped me research the safety and maintenance of the cars. Before I left, they also suggested good gas stations and told me not to mix premium with regular too much.

It's hard to know where to begin. Scuzzy experience w/buying the car. But what really irked me is the incessant and biased way they do their "customer service" surveys. While I was filling out the paperwork to buy the car, the salesman told me that if I didn't give him "excellent" ratings on all of the categories in the survey I'd be getting in the mail (which I was informed about oh, 50 times, and was stamped on all of the paperwork and emphasized in plaques on the wall) that he wouldn't get paid - that he's just commission based and needed me to give him a good rating. Hmm. No pressure, no bias. Which pissed me off because he was just about the slimiest guy I'd ever met and I didn't trust him at all and left feeling poorly about my experience there anyway.
Then there were phone calls - asking the same questions as were on the paper survey. And the calls came after EVERY little interaction I had w/them - be it to get my license plates put on, getting my oil changed, anything - there were phone calls to me at work - always with the same, totally biased questions - "were you COMPLETELY SATISFIED with...".
And they'd always call me at work - regardless of my request that they stop using that number.
This last time when I took my car in for an oil change, they took 45 minutes to pull my car around when I came to pick it up. The service staff just ignored me standing there - said they were bringing it around when I'd check - and finally a guy brings is up and says my battery doesn't work, the car had died, and I need to replace it. It was fine when I brought it - so I protested, and then overheard another service person telling my representative that they'd left my lights on and the battery died, so they had to charge it before bringing it around. Why tell me I have to replace my battery when you made it die??? No apologies.
And of course, this time I did not get a call to complete a survey.
They don't want your feedback - they don't want to have information to improve their services - they want your glowing survey to get those lovely plaques that say they are exceptional in service.
And I will never buy another car from them, and I will never return for their service department.
