I've had two sets of antique chairs recaned here. One set required some "stablilizing" and sheet caning. The other required hand-weaved caning. Both turned out beautiful. He cleaned the chairs, helped me understand how to keep the caning strong & tight, and matched the hand-weaved chair recaning to one that had the original caning intact. Beautiful work. The one caveot is that it takes a while to get your chairs done. If you call & prod, they get done faster. I'm pretty sure its a "one man" show & he has a lot of work to get through. If you have patience for a master craftstman & don't mind checking in now & again, you'll be thrilled with the results.
