I looked after a friend's dog for a short period and had a little 'accident' (he ate a ball). Dog seemed OK but I was concerned and made many calls and drop ins to various vet clinics around the Seattle area. Dr Lamb was by far the most helpful. She seemed to really care more about the dogs well being than anything else. She talked me through options and gave me advice on how I can help the dog get it back out 'naturally'. I think she spent a good 20-30 minutes of attention over the phone and didn't try to sell me xrays or surgeries. At the end she even said, 'Please call me back and let me know if he is OK'. If I ever get my own dog. I will definitely call into Dr Lamb. Pros: Nice and caring vet that is there to take care of your animal

We started out with Dr. Lamb by chance at Lien Animal Clinic in West Seattle. The clinic has a great staff but we came to realize that Dr. Lamb just had a way with our dogs (and with us!). We were ecstatic when we she opened her own clinic right in Ballard. There are now 2 vets at the clinic, but I would still recommend asking for Dr. Lamb. She's friendly, personable and explains things in an honest and clear manner (rather than trying to sell services). Most importantly, she has such a way with animals. We have 2 dogs who can be frightened and grumpy with other vets. When Dr. Lamb comes in the room, they both turn into pussycats! Without complaint they'll endure exams, shots, you name it. I would and have recommended her to friends!

Dr Lamb and her staff are great! I started going to them shortly after they opened last summer. I ve been there about three times with my dog and the staff is always friendly and very helpful over the phone. Unlike other vet offices I ve been to in town, I never feel like I am being overcharged or soaked for things that are probably unnecessary.

My dog was due for vaccines and an annual check up. I walked into a clean recept area and a friendly recept. greeted us. My dog is nervous but Dr. Lamb and staff made it not so scary for him by using treats and quite voices. He didn't want to leave when we were done. The staff took the time to ask questions about 'Freddie' and I chatted away as I love to do about my dog. So nice to see a clinic that wants to know who we are instead of just a 'client' to add to their database.

I walked in to a clean, spacious reception area where the recept immediately greeted my cat and I. Dr. Lamb was so nice, down to earth, funny. She didn't make me feel stupid for feeding my cat this weird cat treat that upset his tummy. He is a special cat to me and Dr. Lamb and staff really made us feel comfortable being there during a stressful time.

This place just opened about 3 months ago. I was lucky enough to run across it and the Vet, Dr. Lamb, at the Ballard Seafood Festival. I can honestly say I have never left a Vet's office with the overwhelming good feelings I had when leaving here. This place is top notch. The exam rooms have a big rug; you, the vet or technician and your pet sit on the floor. I love it! All the people here, especially the vet and owner Alycia Lamb, are fabulous. They are so nice, informative and patient (with my many questions). In addition, Dr. Lamb is doing some cool things with pets; they have, acupuncture and so much more. I would highly recommend them. I, honestly, couldn't be happier with finding such a great vet. I feel lucky!
