I have had two family members live several happy and productive years as residents of Heritage House at the Market. The staff is friendly, caring and compassionate - many staff have been there for several years which makes for a settled and stable environment. They provide a varied menu with tasty offerings in a comfortable dining room with a view any restaurant would covet. Included are a variety of activities for residents with a wide range of interests. A lovely facility for those of modest/moderate means. more

Good Place 3/26/2010

I think Heritage house is the best. My Mother is there. The place is super clean. They have wonderful activities. A young man comes in and plays the piano for the residents. They have a variety of choices from going to Library, Shopping, Movies or Elder Place. Everyone is cordial and the management staff has been there for at least 20 years which provides the kind of stability you would want for a parent. more

Exeter House 4/23/2006

This retirement community is located in the First Hill area. The community has both independent living and a health care center. I have found the staff very friendly and knowledgeable to talk with. This is an older building that is quite attractive from the street. The lobby area is exquisite. They also offer valet parking. How nice is that? I would recommend this place for someone wanting to live in a convenient downtown Seattle location. more

Heritage House at the Market 4/23/2006

This is a retirement community located at Pike Place Market. The location is hard to get to, it is hard to find parking, and the place is hard to find. They need larger signs. Inside, the service is friendly and caring towards residents. The waterfront view from the dining area is phenomenal. Not much else to say. I would not want to live here unless I was shopping at the market everyday. It is far too congested an area for me. more
