From the very first call to get information this company was friendly and helpful. I called at 5:05 on a Wed. and toni still answered the phone even though they closed at 5. She stayed and answered all my questions and got me a scheduled move date the same week! Despite having to contend with the ferry and its unpredictability they remained in good spirits! My crew was Myron and Jesse, I highly recommend both of them to all of you. Myron stayed on top of things by making staying in contact with us every step of the way. Jesse packed the truck with such care absolutely nothing had even shifted going through the steep hills of seattle. They both hustled to get us moved in and remaine courteous the entire time. We did go over the estimated time because we missed a ferry, but i was so happy with them i insisted i pay for it. Would recommend them to everyone i can! Thanks again Express! We just used Express Movers for a move based on the recommendations already written about them. These guys arrived on time, were cheerful for 9 HOURS, patient, helpful, careful. They practically ran through the whole move, never stopping. The amazing thing was that they even offered to move things that we had not yet packed....loose items were not a problem. All our furniture was shrink wrapped, there was never a complaint or hesitancy about any of our requests. When we arrived at the destination, our bed was set up without being asked, boxes were placed in appropriate rooms....and then we got a gift bag. We would highly recommend this mover and think it should win....BEST OF CITYSEARCH! Pros: cheerful, patient, helpful, FAST, careful Cons: can't think of any, these guys were great

Express Movers was absolutely professional from the start! The move was less than two weeks away when I called them, but the friendly staff secured an appointment for estimate right away and also the moving date that I preferred. During the time of the estimate, Myron was curteous and explained my rights and everything else in detail so to avoid any surprise later on. The conversation left me the impression that Myron was faithful and loyal to his employer yet at the same time, was considerate to the customers and had their best interests in mind. On moving date, Myron gave me a call to inform me of the team's departure and the estimated time of arrival. It was the Saturday of the week of record breaking scorching heat. Other than a couple of brief breaks, they worked non-stop. I had a lot of boxes, most of them books, and some heavy furnitures and applicances. They took extra care in wrapping and moving them. While working hard for 6 hours, the team--Myron, Keith, Daniel, and Jose--was respectable to their lead (Myron) and to one another. And they made the job fun! I moved quite a lot and have never seen a team so professional, courteous, efficient, and made moving a fun and pleasant experience for everyone around. I have to say the moving day was the best highlight in this rather stressful move. I would highly recommand this team/moving company without reservation. In fact, if and when I move again, I would no doubt go to them for a fun and professional moving experience! Mary Poppins sang this line while teaching the kids about chores: "Just a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down--in the most delightful way!" Myron and his team was that spoonful of sugar! This is the first time that I have hired movers to help me move. This experience was such a positive one that I will definitely go back to Express Movers again. They were prompt in arriving, provided a very accurate estimate of the time it would take to move my stuff, were extremely fast and efficient, and were very polite and courteous all throughout the move. James and Raymond were the two movers who helped me, and I hope that they are still around the next time I move, since I will definitely like to have them help me again. Thank you! This was the smartest thing I've ever done in terms of moving, what a relief it was to go with this company. We have moved probably 8 times in the last 8 years (some long, but most short distance). As we bought our first house on this go around, I debated whether to get movers or just 'do it ourselves.' After going through Express Movers, I am just thankful that I had the wit to make the call. It was easy (I called a month ahead of time to secure my preferred date, and they place a $50 "deposit" on your card to hold it). The movers (sorry I am forgetting the names) were easy to work with, went over all of the paperwork, and got right to work. We had estimated about 6 hours, and we completed it in around 5 (which meant it came in under cost). Honestly, if you are moving in the Seattle metro area (we moved from Seattle to Bothell) - there really is no comparison, skip the U Haul and your friends pickup trucks and just go with these guys. Thanks! Pros: Right on time, faster move than anticipated, very friendly Cons: Nothing, just the crazy traffic on our day of move

I approached the task of finding a mover with more than a little hesitation. My past experience with movers was, to say the least, not so great. From the first call to Express Movers, my expectations began to shift. The gentleman I originally spoke with, Dave or Dan (?), was wonderful. Since I work in the customer service industry, I am probably a little more sensitive to this issue, so I can honestly say, his customer service skills were so far above and beyond the norm these days! He was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. He had a nice mix of calm and confidence, along with a great sense of humour that put me at ease instantly. After explaining the entire process and gathering my move information, he gave me a quote right then with a couple different options. He explained how the company works and even the goals of the company and told me that the company has won several Seattle awards this last year. After my experience, I certainly understand why! The day before my move I received a call from my lead guy...Myron. Again, like the first guy, he could not have been more pleasant and helpful. He confirmed all of my moving details, his arrival time and gave me an overview of how the next day would unfold. The only question left unanswered that night was, where in the world did they find these guys? Sure enough, the next day went like clockwork. Myron explained the paperwork and did a quick "walk through" of my home. While he was doing this, the other 3 movers jumped into action. They put down carpet in my entry ways to protect the hardwood floors, and worked quickly, efficiently and with smiles on their faces. Things could not have gone more smoothly. They finished a little shy of the estimated time and even came back in after the job was done and helped me with a couple last minute things. I can not say it enough...they guys are the best! I am recommending them highly...a company this good deserves to thrive! Pros: nice, professional staff! fast and efficient Cons: none

We had a large move with Express and the team was very hard working. The price was right, so just make sure that if your move is very large, that every detail is taken into account. Have the 3 trucks, dollies, pads, boxes, and the crew counts agreed to in advance. If you've moved before and know you have a 2 day move... even if they really want to do it for you in one day, appreciate their eagerness to please, but insist on the 2 day job. I guess, just make sure everyone is on the same page. I didn't do that and a few things wound up going awry. However, the crew hung in there and the job got done!! They worked really hard, way past the normal stopping time, to get the job completed. Pros: Price. Hard workers. Cons: The requirements for the size of the move were underestimated.
