STP delivered arborist chips and damaged my brand new fence and gate. I was there when the driver hit my fence. The driver acknowledged that he hit my fence. I called the company to report the damage and was advised to get an estimate for repair. The owner, John, showed up today, unannounced,and I showed him the damage caused by his driver. John was belligerent and said "I should have charged $125. for the chips!" He kept saying that the chips were free and what more did I want. His parting words that he had no intention of paying to "replace" my fence = odd since the fence is new as of January 2009. I expect I have a fight on my hands to get STP to pay for the damage caused. I sure hope they have liability insurance!?

Seattle Tree Preservation Inc showed up next to our house a at about 7 am and started using their chipper soon after. The noise from it was louder than anything I have heard in construction in 30 years. I reached the owner and a asked him if he knew how loud his chipper was. Instead of apologizing he started insulting me and hung up the phone. Stay away from this people the owner is rude condescending and will not look at the integrity of his operations.
