We have been fans of A&J for over 20 years.
We used to buy our spring lamb for Easter at Jones Bros in Ballard and were heartbroken when they burned and closed shop because my parents & grandparents used to shop there. Finding A&J was a Godsend. A&J provides the BEST lamb ever. They will bone and roll it and even save the bone for your dog if you'd like. Their stuffed pork chops are FANTASTIC, too as well as their assortment of breakfast sausages.

The address given here is no longer accurate---Fresh Fish has moved up to 80th, near the intersection of 80th and 24th (next door to Larsen's Bakery). This location is much better than their previous Market St one! It's a nice place to stop in for lunch and grab some fish while you're there to cook for dinner that day.

The product knowledge is fantastic and if you're looking for quality in meat and seafood you'd be hard pressed to find any better. From their award winning beef jerky, buffalo jerky or turkey jerky to the melt in your mouth tri-tip...there are few businesses that can boast a better selection or a more unique preparation suggestion. They pick and shell crab and vacuum pack it for you, so you can take it home, open the package and prepare a fabulous crab cocktail, or salad with no mess. Grilling instructions are always right on...and the selection of meat, chicken, and seafood is the best. If you are looking for a great gift idea...pick up a gift certificate and let your recipient pick out their own delectable dinner entrée. I have been shopping at Han's for about two years and I love this place. They have handmade/homemade lunch meats and sausages that are to die for. They also have fresh baked sourdough rye brought in daily. There are lots of specialty German foods and beers in there also. Try the sauerkraut which is cured with wine, delicious. They have been at the same location and owned by the same owners for 35 years. I cannot say enough good things about this place, it was a super find and the people that work there are a pleasure to deal with. If you like authentic German food you have to try this place out.

They have so many great cuts of meat to choose from! I have always had very helpful and friendly service at Cascioppo Bros and the meat is always of the highest quality! They also serve some wonderful freshly made hot sandwiches there which are SO good!
They have a beef flank sandwich which is out of this world!
