I just used Darrell after reading the Judy's book review and definitely would recommend him. He was professional and prompt with his report. He also emails you a .pdf the day of the inspection and then a more thorough bound copy arrives in the mail a few days later. He talked me thru the initial report on the phone immediately after the physical inspection was done, so i knew immediately if there were any MAJOR blockers he's very thorough and knowledgeable. thanks Darrell!

Darrell Marsolais is everything you want in a home inspector - thorough, knowledgeable yet also capable of providing a realistic assessment of the impact of a potential problem. As a potential home buyer, you want to know about everything that might be wrong with the place. However, you also don't want to be scared by minor problems - you need to be able to make a reasonable determination of how important a particular problem is. Darrell provides a pdf that post-inspection of the things that he picked up and then FedExes a more thorough binder post-inspection. This becomes the 'owners manual' to your new home.
