Dad Watson’s might just be my new favorite place in Fremont. The atmosphere is dark and cozy. We sat near the back where the secluded, wood paneled booths and eclectic décor reminded me of the kind of old-fashioned restaurants my family used to take me to back in New England. The brews are very tasty (girls, try the Ruby ale) and the dinner menu is great. I had the halibut and chips, which are now my second favorite in town (only because the price is slightly inflated compared to my top pick, Chinook’s).

There's just some of those rough days that you just want to come home and crack open a chocolate milk carton and browse the internet. Well, Darigold does this perfectly by providing absolutely delicious milk that is soothing, and creamy to the taste. Packed with nutrients and delicious taste, Darigold continues to amaze after several hundred years of excellent service to families across america. Dairy products help build strong bones as well, although many people are lactose intollerant, such as african americans, and many children, but those who can stomach it are in for a treat. A delicious milky treat.

I recently visited the Elysian and was impressed first off by the wide variety of vegan and vegetarian food items. Yes, it's located on Capitol Hill, but nevertheless, I have never visited a brewpub with such a selection for non-omnivores. I was further impressed by the prices and selection of the alcoholic beverages. My friend was quite pleased with his two different Belgian beers, and my Framboise was the best beer I've ever had (possibly because it tastes almost nothing like beer, more like sweet raspberry alcohol). I had a squash soup which was hearty and creamy (but creamless) and came with some tasty crusty bread. I strongly recommend this place!

Gordon Biersch surprised me all 3 times I've been there. It has a really wide selection of food, which is great for vegetarians like myself (check out the hummus salad). My husband loved his steak there as well, in addition to the usual burgers etc. It also has quite a bit of seating, so they get you in really fast, even if you have more than 4 people, which is rare for downtown. Add to that great beer, nice servers and proximity to the downtown movie theaters and you've got a winner.

I love this store and go there all the time to get their loose tea. I am a big tea drinker, and I get different kinds of tea every time I go. My favorite is ginger peach, apricot, peach ambrosia, tropical, very berry, gen-mai-cha...and so many more! They have a variety of spices you can buy in bulk, which is awesome because you can buy a little at a time, so your spices are always fresh, not stale!
Pros: A large selection of spices and tea

This is a great place to go for an amazing burger and fries. The burgers here are not too dry and huge! I used to live in Oregon and went to all the McMenamin Pubs there. This is also a great place to get a beer and chill out. The decor is amazing with murals all over the walls. Even at its busiest times people seem to have a quiet calmness about them adding to the relaxed mood. I usually go here on Friday nights when my work week has been extremely harsh.

Great place to get pet products that you can feel good about. Personally, it could be all in the branding and packaging, but their inventory seems to be pet equivalent of a hippie co-op health food store.
But given the location of this one (Pike/Pine corridor) couldn't they try to stock a few toys that weren't so country bumpkin? Where is it written that all pets want toys that look like a clown pooped it out and furniture that's made out of the most hideous carpet remnants they could find? I mean come on! These are indoor pets, which means we have to put this stuff in our home, yeah?
Oh... but, um, if you're looking for hypoallergenic products organically birthed with love and affection, this is the spot.

Basically you can't go wrong with this concept:
Pacific Crest brews their own beer and barbeques their own meat. It is this kind of commitment to DIY craftsmanship that reminds me that there is some good in this world.
The BBQ alone is some of the best in Seattle.
Pacific Crest is down past Boeing Field and is different than Pacific Rim Brewery in West Seattle which is a completely different place with almost no food, but a completely unique vibe that makes it worth visiting.

This place has some very nice pottery pots, whimsical pots, English pots. Also has some nice tea accessories. You can also have tea there, although I've never stopped to do that.
