We have lived in Greenlake for 10 years and would only call The Electric Co. for our needs. Stephen Brandeis has come out on several occasions for several jobs, including installing new outlets, fixing problems, and upgrading our wiring and circuit breakers in the junction box. The last big job we had, he would not leave until the job was done, way late into the evening. He always shows up when he says he will and does great work. Prices have always been reasonable. Very nice, answered all questions and offered not only a solution but advice and tips. Plus thought they only serviced the Seattle area but also services the REdmond, Wa area as well. I had power shutoff and then turned on. My main power switch would not close and it would not reset. The panel was powered so no way was I going to pull the main switch out. Searched for affordable electricians in Seattle and Electric Company of Seattle was one of two that I chose to call. The lady at the Electric Company office said Steve would call me back. The other company said they would send someone right away but they took their time. However they got their first to look at the switch. They said the switch was old and obsolete, that I would need a new panel. Estimate of cost was well over $3000. Steve arrived later and muttered that he could find a replacement switch, that it would cost about $300 and then the labor. But first he said he would see if he could get the switch to reset properly. He managed to close the switch and bring power back into the house. Total cost was $100 plus $9.50 tax. Total time was about 20 minutes. Most of the time was spent getting his tool bag out of his truck. Steve was very professional, very honest and efficient. I would recommend him for any electrical job you have.

I called Steve on Sunday morning. We were getting an inspection Monday morning and we needed our electricity repaired and a light fixture replaced. We was able to come by that evening. We was very professional, efficient and fixed everything we needed. He explained the process as he worked. Our electricity has been working perfectly since. I would highly recommend The Electric Company of Seattle to anyone.

WOW. I had read good reviews of the Electric Company, and gave them a call for some blown out circuits. The owner, Steve, thoroughly looked at the wiring issues on all pertinent outlets and junction boxes. His professional and knowledgeable demeanor reassured me that all would be fixed. I was able to watch him work, and he did things correctly with no shortcuts, explaining to me his method the entire. He even went the extra mile and replaced some of my switches with better switches from his truck. I greatly appreciated the excellent customer service, the very fair and reasonable price, and Steve's attention to detail. I would very, very highly recommend the Electric Company to others, and I would deinitely use them in the future. Pros: Price, customer service, and thorough quality Cons: None

He was able to come over within 24 hours. He put a quote together, then personally completed the repairs and provided me with a detailed invoice explaining the repairs made. He was professional, reasonably priced and FAST.

We called Stephen Brandeis, the Electric Company owner, at 8pm on a Thursday night to see if he could repair a GFI outlet that had shorted out. By 9:30 our outlet was replaced and the improper wiring job left by "Brand X" remodel crew had been replaced correctly. Steve even trouble shot and fixed a light switch in a second room that hadn't been working properly. Steve is skilled, honest and explains his procedure to make it right by code. His price was fair and his professionalism was what you would expect from a true master of his craft. I have made a list of all of the electrical projects I would like to fix and plan to call Steve again for his skilled workmanship. Steve is a rare find and I plan to refer him to everyone I know.

We called the company at 7pm on a Wednesday night complaining of a hot electrical outlet and the owner, Stephen Brandeis, drove over immediately and fixed it within an hour. Not only was he honest and skilled, but he took the time to explain to my husband how to properly install dimmer switches and fixed a live wire in our basement at no charge. His price was fair and his service excellent! Now we have one electrician we can recommend to friends. Pros: Honest, prompt response Cons: None
