This is a lovely, very laid-back and fun place to hang out. There are lots of seats so it's usually no problem finding a table. They also serve tasty pub food. The macaroni and cheese is especially good! You get a good mix of people and will even find some willing to strike up a conversation, which is a nice surprise in a Seattle bar! The waitstaff and guy checking IDs at the door are all friendly and professional. Probably my favorite bar in Ballard! No pretentions, just fun times.

Consolidated Supply is known in the plumbing industry for GREAT Customer Service. Having worked there for about a year - maybe I'm a bit biased, but I know they have strict polices to ensure Customer Service.

The friendly and helpful staff is key to this business. They went out of their way to find me an obscure part to a 20 year old faucet, even by pulling out the original manufactures catalog to find it!

Great selection of designer fixtures. Prices that look competitive initially. Pleasant and knowledgable staff.
--
Nickel and dime'ing on shipping costs etc make competitive prices quite a bit higher than online. Many of the disadvantages of online as most items are not stocked and they pass on substantial shipping costs to the customer. In fact shipping costs for a bricks and mortar store are higher than for many online fixture stores (eg Ira Woods)
Overall good fixture supply store - but high prices and all the faults of an online store.

It was a close run to "Tacoma Screw Products" but my friends and I at last decided that "T & A Supply Co" wins the "funniest company name" wars. I have no idea what T & A actually supplies, but if they sell t-shirts, they could really make a bundle of money.

It may depend on whether you want an integrated sink/vanity or a separate vanity that you drop the sink into, but I do have one suggestion. When we remodeled, we bought a bunch of fixtures (sinks, toilets, faucets, etc.) at the Fixture Gallery on Stone Way. They have a great selection of big-name fixtures. I believe it is open to the public, but they are probably more used to dealing with contractors, so if you have one, have them make an appointment for you and maybe go along.
It is good to have an appointment, because then a salesperson who knows the products will be able to walk around the showroom with you. This sounds obnoxious in principle, but is actually useful, since they'll ask the right questions about your situation and help you pick out something that will work in the space you have. They're not high-pressure salespeople at all.
