I recently helped out at a non-profit fund raiser by running their AV setup. Shortly before the presentation was about to being the projector shut off all by itself. It powered back on after a moment, but I was concerned enough to call AV Pro, the folks they rented from, to see if this was a known issue. The employee who answered my call spent more than 15 minutes on the phone with me walking me though troubleshooting ideas. He felt confident that it was probably a glitch in the power (old building) but gave me a cell phone number for someone who was standing by to rush a replacement projector out to our event. This all seems like it should be standard behavior for a rental service, but we all know it isn't. I was pleasantly surprised by the immediate attention as well as the sincerity of their concern for our event to run smoothly. I wasn't involved in the rental process, so I can't speak to their equipment selection or prices. But based on their support I'd highly recommend checking them out if you need to rent projectors or sound systems.
