I love to go places where people take care of me and the Sip and Ship is definitely one of those. From the minute you walk in the door with a stack of things that need to go to multiple locations, with no boxes, no tape- they take it on like it is no worry. Love that. From the "shipping' counter- I'm usually on to the "sipping" counter where I get equally great service and occasionally a piece of Squash bread from Macrina. This is also the place I hit when I am looking for a fun gift for girlfriend or new baby on the block...did I mention their cards...fantastic letterpress and local designers. This is a keeper!

You have to love this place!! I disagree that there clothes are overpriced-- some are expensive, but they hit all price-points and some of the even less expensive clothing I have bought there have become the favorite pieces in my closet. They always have sales and not 10-20% off -- there is always a 50% off rack. I love to run in there when one of my kids just broke my sunglasses and can get a stylish pair for 14 dollars! I always get comliments on the items that come from Queen Anne Dispatch!
Also, their shoe selection is wonderful -- I am a huge Merrell fan as I have feet problems and yet am always walking the kids with the dog and need comfortable shoes (and they come in such cute styles that they always update! Much better selection than Nordstrom or Sole Feet in Merrells).
As far as their staff, people who have critized them really need to get over themselves. The hardworking Mother is a hoot, whether she is moody or not, and her daughter's are delightful!! They have worked very hard in this shop and I admire them. They have truly taken the Mom-and-Pop Shop to the next level.
Go in and give it a try!! You can even mail something out while you are at it which is wonderful to be able to get that done as well!!
Thank you for your wonderful shop, Queen Anne Dispatch!!!

Living in the Eastlake neighborhood is quite a luxury. I throughly enjoy visiting the friendly staff in Lake Union Mail and when I have a letter or package to send it is quite simple to send it through Lake Union Mail. And they have a great variety of stamps, my favorite is John Wayne.

Efelle Media has done more than one project for companies I've been affiliated with. I've enjoyed working with them. Their passion for quality and creativity have always made it a truly enjoyable experience. Fred is easy to talk to, upbeat, and a great motivator, all traits that really shined throughout the process of getting our websites up and running. Working with Demia was fantastic. She made the process of getting our website up and running an easy and pleasurable one. I would work -with Efelle Media again in a heartbeat and recommend them for any website design or ecommerce project in the Seattle area.
Pros: Pleasure to work with, great projects with results!
Cons: a little more expensive but well worth the few extra bucks.

I love this place too! I got a PMB from them for cheaper then the USPS offered, plus it is so much nicer to go in to the Alki Mail and Dispatch then to the Post Office. They have a lovely selection of cards, fax machines, shipping services, and I can get packages shipped there so I don't have to worry about packages being left outside my doorstep. I defenitely recommend checking them out for coffee or mailing services.

I used Eastlake Mail a lot when I first moved here. I shipped packages, and sent and received faxes. My wife bought a book of twenty stamps there once, though, and they tacked on a hefty $1.60 markup. Service is good and location is great though. Good neighborhood resource.

My partner and I as well as some friends of ours tend to be safe about getting a cab when we want to go out on the town. It's a lot safer and the money we spend splitting a cab is about the same as we'd pay for parking nowadays. The only time I've had a not so good chance at getting a cab was recently and we were told that there were no cabs servicing the area where we were - which was Greenlake. Strange.
But, that's only one of a couple of times in the past several years where that has happened. Most of the time the drivers are in the highest density places and times of night when people are looking for cabs. With so many people going out more and more I'm wondering if we'll need a bigger fleet of cabs before we get more mass transit services.

More
Post Options is a fantastic local drop off location for FedEx and UPS. I go there about once a week to use their one tiny copy machine ($0.11 a copy) and drop off FedEx. If you are looking for high volume copies or any kind of copies besides 8x11 black and white, I suggest you go to Kinkos.
I have also used their fax services which is actually cheaper than Kinkos. The staff seems friendly although they don't tend to speak much. The packages I drop off always seem to arrive at their destination.
The location has quite a few private mailboxes for a reasonable price ($135 annual fee).
All in all Post Options is a no frills service center for your business or personal post needs.
Hours: 8:30am-7:00pm M-F
10am-4pm Saturday
Closed Sunday
Post Options located 3 blocks off of Broadway on E Pike St.
