We had the most delicious dinner, the salmon was cooked perfectly, the service was outstanding, and of course, the Luner Orbiter was just how I remembered when the space needle opened 62 when I was 7. Maybe the space needle is dear to my heart, and the needle was designed by a brilliant Mr. John Graham. I have eaten and spent alot of money in many fine restaurants in my time. and the space needle is at the top. I cant understand why anyone would complain because thy didn't get butter and salt on their asparagus. I can jolly well put my own salt and butter on asparagus.
Pros: the most comfortable seating and of coarse the view!
Cons: nooonnne!

Jones Barbeque has the most tender, mouthwatering ribs one's mouth can crave. You won't be disappointed because this barbeque is so delectable that I have it shipped from Seattle, Washington to Culver, City California. The sauce is so good that I attempted to stretch it when I was running out. I hid the bottle from the rest of the family when I realized their taste buds were also craving it, because my family was to the point of pouring it on everything they ate including french fries, potatoes ground beef and even salad. The meat is to die for and so is the sauce...so I hid it before we reverted to cave-like behavior. We need a Jones Barbeque in the Los Angeles area.

In the relatively recent past I have seen great, intimate concerts for free by:
Franz Ferdinand
Kings of Leon
RJD2
at Easy Street on Lower Queen Anne.
I have also seen a few bad sets.
The beauty is that all of the concerts are free, so if the band is terrible, it is easy to leave because you don't feel like you have to get your money's worth.
Highly recommended.

I moved to Phoenix from Seattle one year ago and am still in search of an Easy Street Record style shop down here in the desert. The energy, superb customer assistance and awesome selection lured me in to Easy Street Records every time i had $100 to drop on tunes. They have a second-hand CD section upstairs that always has the album i need to complete my collection. I am such a fan of Easy Street Records, I slapped their sticker on the back of my Subaru for all the west to see! Thanks Easy Street!
Pros: Seattle embiance, diverse customer base
Cons: none

Scarecrow is an amazing resource, its practically a warehouse full of movies. From forgotten classics, to the newest blockbusters they seem to have everything. The staff are amazing too. If you can't remember the name of a movie, and you tell them the basic plot (or even a memorable scene) they can usually track it down.
As for their film snob attitude - I've never encountered it, and have found their customer service to be well above average.
Their late fees are high - so pay attention and get your movies back in time.
Pros: Over 100,000 movies
Cons: high late fees

We have lived in Greenlake for 10 years and would only call The Electric Co. for our needs. Stephen Brandeis has come out on several occasions for several jobs, including installing new outlets, fixing problems, and upgrading our wiring and circuit breakers in the junction box.
The last big job we had, he would not leave until the job was done, way late into the evening. He always shows up when he says he will and does great work. Prices have always been reasonable. A diamond in the rough!
Pros: Expertise, Dependability, Work Ethic, Price

Siam has two locations. One on Lake Union and Broadway. I am partial to the Broadway location. I ave been going there for over 15 years and it has not changed in any way (except for the remodel around 2003)
The restaurant is small, very clean and the food is exceptional. Over the years I have varied my orders but seem to go back to what I call the classics. The "special fried rice" "swimming angel" and "green curry" are amazing. I think the special rice is the best i have had anywhere. I think its the chinese sausage and pineapple combo.
The prices are amazingly low for a city restaurant and for Seattle. $30 to feed 2 people and have food for the next day. That is a steal.
The service is great as well. It is a casual place that allows you to have a private conversation, be a little load as a group or meet someone at the sitdown counter. If you want to be quiet and by yourself, sit at the counter and be entertained by the cooks right across the counter from you.
Parking in this area of town in hard to find. You will most likely have to park 2-3 blocks away (pay if parking is the only hurdle - it worth the 5 dollars) The only benifit to the parking is the location in the city. You will find the area of down to be interesting and fun for watching people, which is always great after dinner. Safe and Easy. (there is a good dessert place 3 blocks south on Broadway - Dilettante Chocolate)
All-in-all we love the restaurant so much that when we moved to the burbs 10 years ago, we continued to visit the restaurant at least 2x a month since. It is a 25+ mile drive oneway and worth every dime (not a dime anymore with gas prices) but still worth it at any cost.
Pros: Food, Portions, Value
Cons: Parking
