I would send any bride to Pearls and Lace based on my experience with them. Great store,caring and friendly staff. My dress came in and I didn't have to do anything but a bustle. I was looking online at reviews and ran past this review of the one star...So of course I was questioning the store and its reputation and I went into the store and flat out asked Julie (the owner) what it was on there for because I really loved the store,the people, Julie, EVERYTHING! she explained that the dress was not ordered, it was an honest mistake in this busy wedding season. BUT the dress was going to be at the store in two months prior to the wedding, and that she was waiving the Rush Fee for any mistake that was caused by her. Any how my story..Same thing a store messed up on my dress order and my wedding is April 4th! Pearls and Lace got me my dress already and there alterations lady did my shortening and bustling in just a few days! Thanks You girls!!! You saved my wedding, after being in tears for weeks!

Pearls and Lace is a nice bridal shop in Burien. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a great selection with good prices. There is no time limit to try on dresses or appointments needed. You can take pictures of the dresses. This would be nothing but a rave review, had they not failed to complete the only thing truly critical in this transaction. They did not order my dress. That is correct. The dress paperwork was filled out - the dress was paid for. But when I called eagerly three and a half months later to see if it had arrived - I find out that they lost my paperwork. They never called the designer to order the dress. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. The dress has now been "rush" ordered - it will arrive shortly before the wedding. I can only hope there is enough time for alterations. This is a stressful situation that should have never happened in the first place. Their response has been apologetic, but I feel as if they don't think it is a big deal. So one star. For not only letting a customer down in the worst way, but also to not fix the situation in a way that shows you care.

Pearls and Lace in Burien was recommended on the Knot by another bride so I decided to give it a try. It was actually more than it was cracked up to be. I was pleasantly surprised. All of the dresses are moderately priced but the ladies treat you like you're going to spend a couple thousand. You get individual attention, recommendations and help. They're really honest, trustworthy and friendly ladies. I'd recommend Pearls and Lace to ANYONE! 2026 SW 152nd St. Burien, WA 98166 206-246-6934 (it's towards Three Tree Point)
