We went to one of the last showings of the evening and had a terrible experience. First, when we were searching for seats, there was garbage and food everywhere. They had obviously not cleaned up from the prior showing. Second, they turned off the air conditioning in the theater for the whole movie. It became so stuffy and hot, we were falling asleep during the movie. Last, as soon as the credits were beginning, they turned everything off and turned the lights up. We were not allowed to see past the first credit. It felt as if we were being punished for having the nerve to attend their last showing of the evening of this particular film. They obviously wanted us out of there and fast, by first trying to suffocate us and then cutting off the end of the film.
Pros: good movie selection
Cons: stuffy -- no air conditioning; not allowed to see the credits

When I'm downtown, I only watch movies here or at Cinerama; both by AMC. It might be because Pacific Place is newer and therefore nicer than other cinemas. But I love the northwest-themed atmosphere and how unique it feels compared to the typical multiplex one can get used to. For the same price as other theaters, AMC Pacific Place is the preferable choice downtown.
The only downfall is that it won't show ALL new movies coming out. New movies seem to split between here and the Regal Meridian down the street. I always pray that the movie I want to see will be here...rather than at Regal.
Pros: atmosphere, location
Cons: doesn't show all new movies

The theater rooms and facilities are kept clean. The customer service staff are pretty nice and helpful. It is one of my favorite theaters in seattle.
Pros: Good movie selection, good prices, nice clean theatre, stadium seating
Cons: parking is hard to find

Not only is this theater located in a great shopping area, they have excellent customer service. This past summer, they had an ad for a midnight showing of Superman Returns and I and two of my friends headed down to partake in the adventures of Lois Lane and Clark Kent. However, when we got to the theater, it was closed. Luckily, we found a worker, who in turn got a manager, who let everyone who came for the midnight showing in and they set up a special viewing of it for the 20 (or so) of us that showed up. I went from being terribly disappointed to being quite content!
Pros: located in the mall--shopping!!
Cons: parking downtown is usually difficult and expensive

I remember the times when I used to take the bus downtown and catch a bargain matinee, but ever since the prices were changed and taking the bus became pathetic, I would not recommend going here. Parking is very expensive, and the movie theather is nothing to be bragging about. I've been to other movie theathers that have a nicer environment, including security and cleanliness.

Warning prices are extreme just like the parking. Nothing upsets me more than paying 9$ X 2 for a movie 20$ for some food and then 6$ for parking. Sure its a great location but the total package just cost to much for sub par small screen movies. I can imagine they wanted to make this PAcific 20. 20 movies and 20 seats in each theatre.

The AMC movie theater in Pacific Place, Down Town Seattle, has nice auditoriums, good sound and picture, top box office movies, they even sell beer! However, I warn you, if you are considering seeing a movie that has been recently released (probably first week or two), and especially if it's less than an R rating, be prepared for numerous adolescants to talk, get up and down, leave and return, kick your seat, and display general disrespect for others, throughout the entire show. It's also one of the most expensive theaters in town.
PROS: nice ambiance, comfortable seats, good sound and picture
CONS: rude patrons

The whole experience was forgettable and pathetic.
