I had been before and received an okay waxing. I decided to go back again and ended up with two completely different brows! It is going to take forever for them to completely grow back in, if they ever will. Right after having them waxed, while still on the table, I was suggested I buy brow cream ($100) to grow my brows back in. The wax was also way too hot and took off a large piece of my skin. My brazilian wax was agonizing and didn't even look good. I have had many brazilians before and never had this kind of pain! I was also very disappointed in the customer service, I was made to feel that my two misshapen brows and burn were my own fault! I will never go back. I get regular facials from Erin and I have never recieved more compliments on my skin. Today was my first wax EVER- and Erin did an amazing job. It was relatively painless and she was very quick. I am very pleased with my bikini wax and I am always pleased with my facials. I wouldvreccommend this botique and Erin to RVERYONE!

I can't remember exactly how I heard about the Wax Bar for the first time, but I've been going for around 9 months now, and getting at least one Brazilian a month there. I originally started seeing Karen, the owner, who is fantastic with waxing and started an amazing business. When she left for a slight maternity leave (she is back now) I moved to Melissa, and I'm totally hooked! She is a great waxer, who remembers my preferences and is always fun to chat with. I'd definitely recommend her for someone who is new to waxing, I'm sure she would put you at ease. Its nice that there are drinks there... but with good waxing like that, you don't even need 'em! Pros: maitenance Brazilian prices, great experienced staff, courteous receptionists Cons: parking, Ballard is lame to get to at rush hour

I went in for a facial at The Wax Bar and I can't stop thinking about it! It was the best experience and so relaxing. The appointment began with the technician asking me about any skin problems I wanted to address and she answered all of my questions and concerns with thorough responses and was extremely friendly and so easy to talk to. In between the various treatments she gave me the most wonderful massage on my face, neck, arms and shoulders that made me forget I had to go back to work! My skin was glowing in a way I've never seen it before and it still feels transformed. I felt like I looked ten years younger and haven't had some of the issues we talked about since. I can't say enough good things about it and I wish I could go in every day. I highly, highly, highly recommend The Wax Bar!!! Pros: The amazing facials and friendly staff Cons: Nothing!

Sounds like some disgruntled 20-something who wants to "get even" or a competitor. Idiots. I've been to the Wax Bar 2 or 3 times and really recommend it. The prices are reasonable and I've been happy with my brow waxes. Much cheaper and faster than Habitude but with the same lux environment and level of quality. I also take note when local businesses donate goods & services to school auctions and other charitable events, which the Wax Bar cheerfully and enthusiastically has done. 2 thumbs up! Pros: Location, skilled technicians, cocktails! Cons: Parking, slight pressure to buy products with facials

To all the users writing BAD reviews.....GET A LIFE...or at least stop hiding behind fake screen names..... This is the BEST waxing joint in town. Having worked in the salon industry myself for over 12 years I can honestly say that every experiance that I have had at the Wax Bar has been nothing but 5 star!! Karen, Mac and the rest of the crew have always made every effort to get me in and out on time and with a great wax accompanied by a warm environment and an amazining experiance. I have never had a complaint. Seattle has needed a place like this forever and you haters out there are just mad your not part of it. If you have not tried the Wax Bar... What are you waiting for.????.. Undoubtably my favorite salon in the city.. Keep op the amazing work guys! Pros: Experianced professionals, great environment!!! Cons: Nothing!!!
