This is pretty much youre average, run-of-the-mill nail salon. The people are very friendly and the work is good. The atmosphere is nice, but not luxurious.

If you want REAL sculptured gel form nails this is the place. I had never had gel forms done before (always used the basic acrylic tips) but my sister who lives in another state kept bugging me to try the gel forms. So I called around and checked just about every nail salon in the greater Seattle area and this is the ONLY one I could find that does true gel sculptures. And what a find. A lovely little place, right on 145th St. at the Seattle/Shoreline dividing line. Not having had gel form nails done before, I didn't quite know what to expect, but Hitomi the nail stylist was just great and informative and in 1 1/2 hours I had a beautiful natural looking full set of nails. SO much better than acrylic tips. Great experience! Next I'll have a pedicure!
Pros: Excellent stylist, nice atmosphere, parking available
Cons: None that I've found yet

I went to Sense Nail spa with two of my friends to get our pedicures and I must say, I had a great time. I really liked how it didn't feel like a typical "nail spa". Instead, I was relaxed and really enjoying myself. They do a great job taking care of you and making sure your experience is great. There's a gal there that is awesome at adding a little something extra on your toes. For me, she put a flower with a swarovski crystal in the middle and I love it!!! It's super cute! The only suggestion is, since the pedicure and manicure rooms are completely separate, make sure you and your friends do the same thing, especially if you want to chit chat. There are only 3 pedicure chairs so if you plan on going there with a big group, you will have to take turns. Nail polish colors are limited but it may because of the type of polish they use. Since it's safer for the environment, that might be the reason. Overall, I had a great experience and I hope that you do as well.
Pros: atmosphere, services, and great staff!
Cons: none

My sister and I went to this salon on a Saturday morning. She got french tips and I got acrylics. We had an appointment set two weeks in advance, but the technicians were still scheduled too tightly and had to rush everything. My polish started chipping on the way home, and on the sixth day after getting our nails done my sister called me complaining that her french tips were cracking and that two of them had just fallen off altogether. The next day, my acrylics started falling off- and it's not like we were really hard on them. My sister is in school and doesn't work, and I only work part-time. The stuff they use at Sense is not acetone-based, which is better for your nails but it makes it extremely difficult to get the nails off. My sister had to go to a few classes with half-filed off french tips. After spending $70 between the two of us, this was a very unexpected letdown. We're not going back.

This is the first time that I've tried Sense Nail Spa. The decor was nice, I really like colors. This is a good place to go to for a last minute appointment. The nail tech was really nice I think her name is June. The guy at the front desk had a great smile. My experience here was great! The only thing is that my polish chipped the next day :(
Pros: friendly staff, great prices
Cons: i just wish my polish didn't chip so fast!

This was the first time I've ever gotten my nails done at Sense and the experience was just so relaxing and comfortable. The nail technicians were friendly, welcoming, and SO detailed with their work and treated me as a friend rather than "just a customer." The environment looks and feels so first class. The interior is so clean, sanitary, while at the same time beautiful and trendy. It's been practically a week now and my feet still look and feel like new. I'm a pretty active person, so to see my nails, both hands and feet, look almost untouched made me very happy. I love Sense and I'll definitely continue to go there as long as I can!

In my occupation, I am constantly on-the-go and always have a "thing" about dressing professional, feeling professional, and thats right LOOKIN' Professional!:) When my old salon closed down, I was really bummed. I felt like my world was shattered. Life as a professional became dim, my nails were a mess, my body stressed, and my dress was well, scrunched.
One day, an associate recommended me to Sense Nail Spa and promised that this place would be 'Outta This World' .. so on a spur of the moment, I took it up, booked myself an appointment, and went. When I walked in, 'let me be frank' .. I was shocked! I could not believe the diverse array of equipment, brand nail polishes, massage chairs, feng shui environmental assortment, the gorgeous restroom, and the uplifting musical euphoria. The greatest part was that Sense' Nail Spa performed their services with spectacular ease, made me feel really high class, and gave me back my confidence!:)
Now, I have a nail spa to call home. Sense' Nail Spa, thank you for saving my professional career.
Pros: Plenty of Parking, Ambience, Excellent Customer Service, Communicative, Highly Skilled
Cons: None

I searched far and wide for a salon that doesn't use MMA which is a prohibited ingredient (banned in 22 states) in cheap acrylic products. I must have called 10 different salons and it was obvious that all my neighborhood salons were clueless that this is an issue. This salon was the only one I found that actually knew what I was talking about and advertises that they only use products with EMA (the good stuff). Read up about this on the web if you want to know the concerns. Anyway, they happened to accomodate me the day I called for a full set and they were great! My daughter received a manicure and it was meticulously done. I would go back to try their pedicures. The brother and sister team are professional, smart and hard working. The only downside for me is they are far away from home, but worth it to stay healthy!
Pros: They only use healthy products
Cons: Too far away from home!

Had acrylics years ago and was having trouble with my nails peeling now. I am pretty picky about how natural I want my nails to look and I am also hard on my nails. Do not like the thick, wide look that many get currently with acrylics. Had the original tips put on at a local inexpensive nail salon that my daughter goes to for pedicures. Had found Sense online and liked what I had read. Called and made an appointment for my fill (2 weeks out). Just had them done and what a difference! No one would ever know that these were not my nails. This is positively the best nail salon I have ever been to. Wonderful cozy, environment with great customer service only adds to the best shaping I have ever seen in acrylic nails (ps: I have a manicuring license too). I can't wait to go back and try other some of their other services and will continue to get my fill-ins here. Fantastic!
Pros: Great staff, location, parking, atmoshpere and most important workmanship!
Cons: Can't think of any
