You know what; you gotta check out my new favorite place in Ballard. Habitude is so cool and I really mean that Kermit gave me the best hair cut I have ever had it is trendy but professional it really captured my personality. This is the first time I really felt like someone listened to what I wanted. I also got my brow shaped and tinted with Heather I look like a new fantastic women, my boyfriend couldn’t believe it was me when I walked out of the salon. Not only did I get a new doo but I also got a great new wallet and a pair of earrings from the funky boutique. I feel really good about supporting this local company who carries one of my favorite product lines I can’t wait to go back and have more services. The girls that work at the desk were so nice and offered me a punch card for products and told me about how I can get specials on the Habitude website. I am going to recommend Habitude to all my friends and family because they really rocked my world!!!!!!!! Pros: wonderful staff great services Cons: too much great stuff to look at

Are you like me who has minimal time, always tired, and stressed? Well do I have a place for you-- The Habitude Spa is a wonderful place that takes you away like a calgon bath. Being an executive director for a large corporation it is highly important to me to receive great customer service, and to be welcomed. I have found that diamond in the rough. The atmosphere is friendly, the services are unique, the staff is extremely knowledgable. The spa has such a warm and inviting feeling right when you walk in. I love Aveda products and they have anything and everything you want. The gift shop is great for picking up something special. I live in Los Angeles where we have incredible day spas, but I can't wait when I travel to Seattle (which is quite often) to go to The Habitude to relax. They kept me coming back for more! I am from Indiana which is a stones throw from Chicago where there are many great spas. But Habitude blows them all out of the water!!!! I would suggest ANYONE male or female visit this FAB-O spa!!! It was well worth my time and money. Both of which are very important to me. I will be back for sure!!! I started going to Habitude in 2002 for my hair, which despirately needed some help. Since then everytime I go through the door, there is always some cheerful face to greet me. I have never been disappointed in any of the stylists (& I've seen a few!), estos or massage therapists that I have been to. They are always wanting to make sure I am comfortable and happy. They offer drinks and time to relax away from my hectic world outside their door. I love the on-line specials and little specials they have each day. I love the fact that I am welcome to shop for gifts while just enjoying some tea. I love Aveda and I can get everything in one place! Relax and Enjoy! Pros: talented and wonderful team of people

I get so many compliments everyday. I had a wedding to go to the other day, Viola styled hair and oliver did my make-up. You would have thought it was my wedding. They did miracles. I love Habitude! Went to see Alexander Scott today, as my hair was in a strange in between floppy phases. I said I wanted to infuse some style, but, did not want an over the top edgy cut. He took the time to figure out the best cut for me based on what I asked for and the shape of my face. He then used soothing yet invigorating aromatherapy oils to give me a gentle shoulder and head massage, shampooed my hair and gave feedback about what my hair needs to get the most out of the cut and ensured that the cut was what I was looking for. Long live Alexander Scott! Pros: Takes his time to figure out the best cut for you

Today I received a letter in the mail from Habitude telling me my stylist, Frederick, was no longer working for them. They went on to offer me free and discounted services if I would continue to stay with them. The first thing I did was call Habitude to find out where my stylist went. INCREDIBLY, they would not tell me!!! I cannot believe the gall of this place!! Did they think I flew all the way from Utah (750 miles) every month just to go to their stupid salon? I was there for one reason and one reason only... Frederick. I've spent years looking for a brilliant stylist and I'm not willing to try one of their newer stylists, as was suggested in the letter! I called them again and demanded to know where he went and was finally told he's at Etherea, somewhere downtown. I looked it up and found it online, for all of you having the same problem. Etherea in Belltown, 206-441-5511. Pros: Frederick was there. Cons: Frederick is GONE!
