I received a gift certificate from my partner for a massage with Gina at Aria and was excited... but not THAT excited. I LOVE massage but am often disappointed. Well, after my first massage with Gina, I will never go to anyone else again. In fact, I think that if I move out of Seattle, I'll have to quit getting massages all together. She really takes her time and LISTENS! to what you hope to get out of your session. She also is good about checking up with you about pressure etc.. throughout the session and actually takes your direction if you have preferences or requests. Afterwords, she goes through the session with you and talks to you about your body, so informative! Especially if you've ever had injuries or if you are a person with tension problems. She really knows her stuff! And she uses a variety of techniques, all of them well. She does great swedish, but if you are a person who likes more pressure, she has the strength and ability to accommodate that. Lastly, her room is perfect, her variety of scents and oils would suit any taste, and the salon itself is charming and conveniently located (and easy to find). Truly, I've never been to a better message therapist and doubt I'll ever find one. Now, I'm fast becoming a regular. So, a giant thank you to Gina, I will tell all my friends and be back as often as possible! Pros: best technique, relaxing ambiance, excellent service in salon, GINA! Cons: none

Tamara is simply the BEST COLORIST in TOWN! She's everything you look for in a stylist from her enthusiastic personality to understanding the color you are looking for. I've been going to Tamara for years... and even flew up from San Francisco to see her. My asian hair is no challenge for this talented girl, and I've always enjoyed my time with her. All in all, I highly recommend Tamara to anyone who's looking for a fabulous color. cheers!

After spending the past few years making do with just ok to really bad cuts from an array of stylists, I am ecstatic - to say the least - to have found someone who knows what they're doing! Thanks to Josh at Aria my faith in stylists has returned. The amazing thing is that he LISTENED to me! First thing he did was ask me specifics about my hair - problem areas, what I'd like changed, etc. - and we discussed which styles would work for me & why. He had some great suggestions and though I was somewhat nervous about going shorter with already short hair, he seemed so confident that I went with it. It's the BEST hair cut I've had since 1986. I love it. And what's more, everyone else loves it. Even people I just meet tell me they like it. I love Josh! ...Marie..

I've been a client of Arial for the past year due to Tamara's consistent and truly talented styling. She listens and internalizes your preferences to create stunning looks time after time. I've been to many a top-rated stylist in Seattle and she is by far the most attentive and personable, to date. I absolutely trust her with my color and I'm going to be honest, I'm pretty high-maintenance. So, if you want to have an exceptional experience, book an appointment with her and take a look in the mirror afterward; because you're gonna look good...! P.s. she's funny and knows alot about how to host a killer dinner party andmake your house look fabulous. Thanks Tamara! Pros: super friendly staff! Thank god I don't cry over hair, it grows back or you can re-do the color. But when I specifically have but only 2 requests and both are ignored. I could never recommend the stylist (Josh) to another human being. Other than that it was a nice salon with an extremely friendly staff. Pros: conviently located Cons: Listening is not a strong point

I'm telling you the truth. I've been getting brazilians for 8 years and recently moved to Seattle from LA a year ago. I've hopped from one waxing place to the next with sad results aka too pricey and not very skilled waxers. I'm used to paying $40 to $50 so for me paying $80 is a little ridiculous. Rebecka came highly recommended through a co-worker who said she was really nice, very skilled and quick. First, I was very impressed by Aria it's self and the front desk girl was very cute and accomodating offering me a beverage while I waited. I barely got a sip out of my water glass when Rebecka came around the corner to greet me something about her made me feel instantly at ease, she asked me how my day was and within 2 minutes she had me on the table and laughing. I have NEVER laughed while getting a brazilian in all my years EVER! The next thing I know she telling me to get dressed. She was so quick I didn't even realize it was over and it was the most thorough wax job I've ever had, not one hair left behind. Pros: Brazilian Wax and Front Desk Cons: Parking

With something as sensitive and painful as a brazilian wax, you definitely want time on your side! Her waxing studio may not be oozing with terry cloth draped armchairs, lavender scents wafting through the air ducts, or Enya playing at near subliminal levels but what it lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for in efficiency and price. For more than 2 years I've been going to Aria salon just for Pegi. She is absolutely the most talented aesthetician around. My eyebrows went from a complete mess to gorgeous arches and I feel like a superstar everytime I leave her. I get complements on them constantly (who knew people even looked at eyebrows). Additionally she does fantastic brazilian bikini waxes - I'm in and out of there in less than 30 minutes and her bright personality and quick hands make the experience completely comfortable and (nearly) painless. She simply is THE BEST and if you are looking for quick, reliable and expertise, go to Pegi. You'll never go to anyone else again. Pros: Pegi is brilliant
