I scheduled a last minute haircut with Joevir, right before my move to NYC. My hair was well below my waist and I wanted to cut 10 inches to donate to the Locks of Love and to feel lighter for the summer. I was very impressed with Joevir's excellent hair cutting technique, his ability to choose the most up-to-date style for me and still kept my hair long. I was expecting to go in for 30 minutes to get my 10 inches cut off, styled, and go home. Instead Joevir cut 12”! I was getting a little nervous but soon he washed my hair and gave me a wonderful head massage (I have never had a hairstylist do that before). Next, he started styling and I was even more nervous as I kept seeing more hair come off. Then out of nowhere he comes back with this concoction and starts adding it into my hair and wrapping foil around it. By this time I was so, so nervous and scared that I would look like some kind of a zebra (I have never colored or highlighted my hair before). When it was time to wash off the goo… yes yet again another wonderful head massage. Joevir then dried and styled it and now it was time to look in the mirror. It was AMAZING! It felt light and looked so much more alive! I couldn’t stop bragging to all my friends and even in NYC I have gotten complements on it. Thank you Joevir for such a wonderful haircut experience and a pleasant conversation. For those of you who are considering getting your cut and style by Joevir Morada I would suggest knowing somewhat what you want but also allowing him to “experiment”. He does a great job listening to what you want but at the same time he can see in his mind what hairdo you will look exceptionally great in.

Joevir is the most amazing artist you will ever meet. I just turned 30 and It was a big decicion to cut all my hair off but after looking at a lot of different hairdos I decided to go to Joevir and have him surprise me with whatever he decides. I closed my eyes and had him cut away and O MY GOD I look like a French Model I have been getting compliments from strangers. I feel and look great. I quit going to Joevir a while ago when my job moved from downtown. I've colored my own hair since. A few months ago my color went horribly wrong and I fried my hair. I called Joevir and he fit me in right away early on a Saturday. He fixed me right up (still don't know how he did it?) and gave me a totally new style. It got a lot of compliments, including my husband who usually begs me to keep my hair long and not get it cut. He thought Joevir did an outstanding job!

I went to Joevir for the first time with a desperate need for a color change. I have always wanted to try a red on my dull brunette head but have always feared the results. I let Joevir do what he thought was best and come to find out we agreed on the color perfectly! He gave me the most beautiful red ever! The cut was amazing! I recently had my hair chopped, but am already waiting for it to grow. I told joevir this and he gave me a cut that makes my hair look longer! Thanks Joevir, I will be back!!! Rebecca

You can tell by his cutting/coloring style that he takes pride in his work, and looks at your hair as not just hair but as a piece of his art. I would recommend Joevir's hair design to anyone. Not only did I receive a wonderful haircut and color, but I also learned a lot about my hair as well!

I ask for something done to my hair, whether it be simple of complicated, Joevir does it EXACTLY how I want it. Other places don't even compare to the technique and quality that Joevir's salon. People always compliment me on my hair and how they love it, and I just let them know that it was done by Joevir, and they usually become clients. I wouldn't go any other place. (:
