I have previously seen Rudy at Robert Leonard for many haircuts and highlights. He does a phenomenal job and is great at styling and cutting your hair to fit YOU. He's a bit pricey, but I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. I stopped seeing Rudy because at the time, he had crazy summer hours that didn't work with my schedule. Hopefully that won't be an issue for you.
Word of advice...try to park on the street with the metered parking. You'll save an arm and a leg!

I got a haircut from Randy at Robert Leonard and it was the best haircut I've gotten. I really need to get back to him! The whole ambiance of this salon is extremely relaxing and calm. There's tons of natural light pouring in from the large windows, and I enjoyed being in a robe instead of in my normal shirt.
I would suggest Randy (and Robert Leonard) to anyone!

I started going there a year ago. At first, my stylist was great, and then she started doing everything I did not want done to my hair. Now I look like a freaking skunk and my hair is fried! The people are super rude and think they are the upper crust of society. I got news for you, "It's a stupid salon! Last time I checked you have to cater to society, you are not part of it!" The man at the front desk literally said to me, "Miss, we have organic fresh fruit and Avon water, please do help yourself!" BLAH to Avon water and men that think they are sauve and sleek.

Gene Fruchtman at Robert Leonard's Salon in downtown Seattle is the absolute best. I've had massages all over the world, so I say this with absolute conviction. Gene has a background in physical fitness and sports medicine, and is very in tune with the connector points that cause tensions and misalignments. I've literally felt I've grown two inches after a massage with Gene, so good is he at fixing ailments. Gene has a unique style that it is a mix of deep-tissue, Thai, and shiatzu. Cost for an hour and a half is $100.

Shannon has been cutting my hair for close to 10 years and I've followed her from her early days at the Gene Juarez Training Salon. She's pretty pricey, but worth it because she is not afraid to offer suggestions when I need to try something new, etc.
