Paid them 10K to waterproof my basement so we could finish it. Followed the plan that their estimator laid out, and he guaranteed to solve the problem. However their system is not draining properly. They have ignored me and my lawyer (my lawyer called everyday for a week). I am being forced to file a lawsuit just to get them to respond to me. As soon as you pay them, they refuse to provide you any customer service. I have great pictures and video of my flooded basement.

I give Aqueous Basement Systems negative 0 stars if I could. I hired them to do foam insulation. The salesperson who came to my house to give me the estimate started out very knowledgeable and I thought I was making the right choice by hiring them to do the work. They came to do the work, they started by breaking a water pipe that they then denied they broke and refused to fix. They insisted the pipe was already leaking and they were doing me a favor by bringing it to my attention. At the time I thought it could be plausible, perhaps it was already leaking so I paid for a plumber to fix it. I let them continue with the installation. They created a huge mess with the foam so much so that they had to reinstall the vapor barrier. It took them a few trips longer than expected to finish the work. In the end they said the job was finished and inspected that the work was complete. I paid and they left. Later I noticed that my heat bill seemed about the same or even more. I called them several times to come back and reinspect the work. I never could get anyone to call me back. I then had a third party come in to inspect the crawl space and they confirmed that the ducts were not well insulated, they had left some ducts completely uninsulated, another set of ducts were loose because they didn't seal them before spraying and they left several water pipes exposed. ABS has continued to refuse to come out and fix the problem. When I have called the receptionist are extremely rude as well as the owner when I have spoke to her. I would highly recommend anyone who may be considering hiring ABS to quickly walk away. There are many other very reputable crawl space experts I would recommend first calling PSE and hiring one of their Referrals. I wish I would have known this before I hired ABS. It was a very expensive lesson to learn.
