Excited about this new pub. Excellent food--had the mussels, hummus and pitas, and steak sandwich today. Just a really nice restaurant in the usually dormant area around the stadium. A lot bigger than I imagined too. Not to mention the fancy pants restrooms. Highly recommended, good for small or large parties.

I have seen quite a few good acts here recently. The bookings are pretty solid, but the layout of the space makes it tough to see. The stage is far away from most of the views and it's tough to get around. The alcohol is an average price. Overall a good place to see a show!

I never go out to bars late at night on a party night- can't stand the smoke and the jostling. But I really enjoy Teddy's on an afternoon . There's a jukebox stoked with the usual, beer on tap, a lowkey bar staff and best of all- 50cent pool. A great place to just chill at, especially on a hot summer afternoon. They open at one or two everyday and start serving happy hour foods at 6pm. Also, they play all the sports games on big screens if that's your thing.

When you have a need to shoot some stick, this is the only place to go. They have like fifteen full size professional tables, not the crappy little coin operated variety. The beer is fairly priced, I definately say go with the pitcher. And on fridays and saturday they have a club downstairs when your ready to get your freak on.

I LOVE this new place. Everyone that works here really are nice people. Great food (GREAT!). The drinks are stiff and well-concocted. The shaven headed bartender is just an interesting guy and pleasant.

I love this place, it is the best dive around. They have a great menu (like turkey and cranberry sandwich, fish n' chips, and steak with potatoes) and it's all served up in a very dingy sailboat-esque decor. A great place to go have many a beer with friends. Get the Slooper- it will be the biggest and best beer you have ever had! For being such a dive, it attracts a random crowd, which is one of the reason the Sloop is so cool. Very relaxed. It's the kind of place where you can get a good meal, a large beer, and have a smoke and the servers don't smother you with smiles, but they are attentive.

Since the no-smoking ban went into effect, this place is just not the same. It's just not hazy enough when you descend the stairs and the crowd is different now too. It's still a fun place to go for a beer in the U-District - probably my favorite on the Ave. They've got darts, pool, and a good juke box, plus they have deals on appetizers in the afternoons. It's the darkest bar around, since it's mostly underground. They also have a back room that you can reserve for parties I think.

I have only gone to this bar on the way to the see Mariners games. Every time I do so, I end up staying in the bar and watching the game on TV, then end up stumbling into the game in the 4th or 5th inning. This bar is small and can get crowded before games. Also, the cheap drinks ($2 Rainer) are enticing.

The Zoo is on... and has been for years. You gotta love this Eastlake Institution. Saddle up to the bar and have a cold beer next to some of the neighborhood all-stars! And come on, the big pool table is just insane... even if you don't know how to play snookum or whatever. The shuffleboard table needs some refurb action, but hey- who's counting. Laugh at the geeks playing Golden Tee on the way out!

CAN'T BEAT A PUB CHALK FULL OF "FRIENDLY" PEOPLE. ADD TO THAT, A
FANTASTIC BEER SELECTION AND A FULL BAR.
THIS PUB IS LINED WITH ZERO FILLERS. IT IS WHAT IT IS AND THAT IS WHAT MAKES IT SO COMFORTABLE.
SHOOT A DART, SIP A DRINK, FLIRT WITH A FOREIGNER AND EVEN TRY A GENUINE AUSSIE "MEAT PIE."
WATCHING A GAME AT THE "KANGAROO & KIWI," IS AN UTTER EVENT.
WATCH RUGBY, FOOTBALL, SOCCER AND MORE JUST LIKE AT YOUR HOUSE BUT WITH A
TASTIER BEER SELECTION AND MOST LIKELY, LARGER TELEVISION TO BOOT.
IT REALLY IS BETTER DOWN UNDER.
