This place always makes me forget I am sitting in the middle of downtown. Great little menu and average prices. Nice beer selection. It might be hard to get a table straight away if you are heading in during the lunch hour.

Whenever we go on the "Ave" we always hit up Earls. They have the greatest specials. 3.00 for 1/2 pound burger and fries, it doesn't get any better than that. It's also a very friendly environment, I always feel comfortable in there. They have great hot wings too, and cheap pitchers of PBR.
Enjoy

Can you say 130" HDTV Plasma? I'm a member of the Puget Sound PSU ALumni Group, and we watch ALL our games here. There is an area just by the TV which is family friendly, AND each table in the main portion of the dining room has its own LCD TV (great for dual matches...)
If the kids melt down, have a spouse stay while they get better in the lobby, where there are several LCD Plasma displays acting as backup. Or, before the game, wear them out at the Seattle Center, Children's Museum, or Science Center - all within a 10 minute walk.
Also, any kids meal gets you a free golden ticket into their monthly memorabilia drawing.
If that wasn't enough, they sponsor little leagues by allowing the league to give a number that when referenced by guests on their bill gets 2% refunded back to the league. How many places do that still?? Look at their site for more information.
Parking in the garage under it at Fisher Plaza is $5 for an ENTIRE weekend day.
Not only are they kid friendly in environment and food, they are also pro kid in the community.
Besides, can you say 130" HDTV Plasma?? I know you can... ;)

I just had my engagement party at Hales Ales and it was such a huge success!!! Jude, the coordinator, was wonderful! The decorations were great! The food Fabulous and all our friends and family had a great time!!! It was nice that they served beer and wine at our bar, but if people wanted more they could go down stairs. Children were allowed and it was just a great night!
Highly recommend this location for a party!

The thing about the Roanoke is that it feels as if you're at a pub that you built in your backyard and a bunch of people are there hanging out with you. The bartenders treat you as if you're a regular no matter if you've been there once or every night for a month. Always a great selection on tap and Rainier if you're indecisive like me. Not too big, great seating, and, in the summer, take your beer and head out back where there is table tennis. Seriously! You can drink a beer and play some pong. They'll even open it for you on a abnormally sunny Saturday now and then in the winter/spring. Always a good crowd, always a good time.

Clean, modern, cozy, slightly-retro, newer night club and bar, divided into two sections: a "free" side and a "pay" side... (if there is a cover that night). Their schedule may vary, but generally the music is always diverse and eclectic, as with the crowd: If I recall correctly, there are amazing live bands or piano bar on Sundays, poetry slam on Tuesdays, check the Stranger for weekdays (range from DJs to private parties); re-mixed hip hop on weekends... and it's never over-crowded.
Always a good happy mix of mostly locals. Staff is quick and smart. Drinks and cocktails are yummy, my fave is the Mojito. Large cushioned booths are very comfortable and accommodate larger parties while the smaller tables in the dimly lit environment cater to the smaller intimate dates. Dancing is encouraged. Harder to find as they don't have a huge glitzy entrance... it's near Peso's and next to Kid Valley on Queen Anne Ave on the Uptown/Lower QA area. I can go on forever about this place...

That doesn't mean the drink specials go all day, but there is something to love at any time in this great post-work drinking spot (and I don't just mean the cute waiters). Their appetizers are generally good for two people and are always delish, and the drinks are tasty. Best of all, it's on the smallish side, so it feels intimate, though you could gather 8 people at the big tables comfortably. They open the big windows in the front on warm days, lending the place that al fresco feel. I must say I often rely on the promise of a drink at Kai's to keep me plugging away at my 8-5 job.
