This place is a pretty decent bar to spend some time in. My boyfriend can't seem to tear himself away from the old school video games when we go though. The beer is cheap. It seems like the type of place that has a bunch of regulars from the neighborhood. This wouldn’t necessarily be the place to go with a huge crowd.

The attic hits the spot. Darts, big selection of beers, and a menu that delivers. I particularly like the staff that's not willing to go out of their way to give you extra service, but they get the job done. Direct and to the point and once you're a regular, they'll remember your favorite brew. Lots of post-college and neighborhood madison parkers frequent this joint--I highly recommend it.

This place has it all...great beer, booze if you want it, a wonderful bar menu, and Steve the owner is a gem! Let's see....what haven't we tried...the appetizer wings are fabulous - watch out, wingdome! My personal favorite is the Reuben. We first went to Bad Albert's around 6-7 years ago, when an article appeared in the Times claiming they made the best Reuben in town. They do! It comes with great fries, or you can substitute a yummy ceasar. The cobb salad is very good, the fish & chips, the back street burger. On Fridays, Steve has an incredible special -- prime rib!! Get there early, cuz when it's gone, it's gone baby! And, this guy is so hip, he even pours our current favorite beer - Manny's! They also do breakfast on the weekends -- not a bad hollandaise!

from the moment I walked in there and the DJ was playing a Mr. Bungle song. It's known as a metal bar and attached to the Vogue, so it's usually a mix of metalheads, goths, and for whatever reason, guys on sport bikes.
One of the best parts of the Juj was the ambience. It was dark (all black walls), smokey, had great art on the walls, and cool glass designs over the bar where there was a shark tank. If you get there too late, its definitely hard to get a seat, but it's not packed like a pioneer square bar, just busy.
The bartenders were quick and poured good drinks. Alas, as far as I know, it has shut down and the bar/staff moved to Neumo's. At least that's what I have heard, haven't been by there in a few months.

Went there after dinner at the Triangle with a couple of friends and had a great time. The pool tables are in good shape and the mood there is laid back and devoid of attitude.
The ladies behind the bar were cool and sweet and poured great drinks.
Jameson's rocks, and kicking your friend's arse at pool. Sometimes the simple things are the best.
Enjoy.

Barca is a large, almost cavernous lounge and does a great job making the place feel warm. The bi-level bar makes it more varied than many of the small single room lounges around Seattle. Big booths with high sloping cushions surround the main level and high bar tables dot the interior. There is something for just about any type of group.

I'm a big fan of the Barking Dog having been coming here semi-frequently since they first opened up. Last weekend I ventured in with one of my real estate clients after a long morning of house, townhome and condo viewings. We both ended up with the Vietnamese sandwich - mine with tofu and hers with the chicken option. Tasty! I recommend it although the bread was a bit different (more chewy) than I anticipated. The sauce was flavorful but not overwhelming and they put the jalapenos on the side (thank goodness!). The waffle fries that come with the sandwiches (you also have a choice of salad or soup) were so good we had to stop ourselves from continuing to eat them so we could focus on our sandwiches.
The sandwiches here are big enough of a portion size that we could have shared but since we got different types I took my other half home and enjoyed it later as a lunch the next day. It was all still good to me the second time around.

The Buckaroo is a tough little bar (as tough as a bar can be in Wallingford). It has cheap beer and pool, and it’s not a college bar. There’s always a slew of motorcycles parked out front and people tend to bring their dogs in for a drink. It’s a nice break from the typically trendy Fremont scene. I’m not sure if they take credit cards (in fact, I’m pretty sure they don’t) and don’t bother trying to use the ATM there – it’s weird. Basically, bring cash.

Chapel is great. The atmosphere is awesome as well as the decor. It's a renovated funeral home, and you get some of the 'chapel' feel while you're there, but the decor is very sophisticated, dark, lots of ambience. The prices are typical, not too expensive, the service was excellent. Our waiter even found us when we changed locations. It's a great spot to sit with some friends before going out to dance. The balcony upstairs has some particularly comfy seats. There's a nice mix of people, from the capitol hill crowd, to suits and ties. I highly recommend going!
