Last night our waitress at the Fiddler's Inn came to our table to yell at a member of our party over an imagined slight (she'd told us they were 'out of coffee' at 9PM , then accused my friend of having disbelieved her), then jabbed a pizza pan at us while berating us at the top of her lungs. Our server's behavior was inexcusable, and is the sole reason we'll never be back.

What used to be a dives' dive - a ramshackle little green log cabin that smelled bad - is now a very attractive neighborhood pub. Completely refurbished a while back, with very nice open spaces - wood and glass - it is a great place to stop for a beer on the way home from work. Good food and pizza accompany the fine beer list, although a couple of the best items have been inexplicably removed from the menu (clam chowder and the Harvest sandwich). Try the quesadilla!
