I never thought it would be important to me to feel good at my local bank. After all, I wasn't there for social hour, I was there to deal with money. But that's why I really love Homestreet: money should include this cold interaction all the time. It's okay for me to say hi and act human when I make a check deposit. And I love feeling good at a bank. It makes me enjoy dealing with money.
Everyone is helpful and friendly and it does feel like MY bank and not just a branch of robots doing stuff. They also have alternative health fairs, support charities, and give away good free gifts when you join and if you refer someone. Can't go wrong with that.
Even though they have minimal branches, it doesn't bother me. They send you prepaid envelopes for deposits!
