I came across this gem while strolling through Pike Place Market. It smelled great and the hombows looked interesting. I had never seen anything like them before. I questioned the worker what they were and received a good explanation. (Humbows are baked or steamed buns filled with meats and/or veggies.) They are fantastic! There is a nice variety to choose from, too. They are freshly made and an easy 'hand food' to enjoy while taking in the rest of the Market. Plus, they are very reasonably priced. The BBQ Pork Hombow is my favorite. For $2, you can't go wrong! There are also HUGE almond cookies and other items available here - I just narrow in on the humbows.

If you're looking for a quick, cheap and tasty lunch in the market, this is a great choice. For $3 you can get a big, tasty hombow filled with veggies or your choice of a variety of meats. These are SO yummy and filling. You can stroll through the market while you eat or go across the street to the park. The potstickers look very good also, but I always have a hombow.

I came across this gem while strolling through Pike Place Market. It smelled great and the hombows looked interesting. (Humbows are baked or steamed buns filled with meats and/or veggies.) They are fantastic! There's a nice variety to choose from, too. They are freshly made and an easy 'hand food' to enjoy while taking in the rest of the Market. Plus, they are very reasonably priced. The BBQ Pork Hombow is my favorite. For $2, you can't go wrong! There are also HUGE almond cookies and other items available here - I just eagle eye the humbows. Every time I've been here, the service has been great/quick. I just love this place!

I have been a big fan of Mee Sum for a long time. Whenever I'm in Downtown Seattle, I purposely go out of my way to stop in and get some beef humbow. When I worked down there, I used to walk on my lunch hour to eat here. Oh it's sooooo delicious...and only $2 or so. Fast, polite, made the same every time, totally consistent. Sweetly spicy and utterly worth every mouth-watering drop. Worth driving 10 extra laps to find a parking space and to top it off with a trip to Le Panier for dessert is heaven.

Great, inexpensive walk away food in Pike Place Market. I had a pork hombow and it was really good, and at only 2.25 a good cheap lunch when added with the peach I bought from the vendor down the way. There is nowhere to sit down, but there are benches and seats throughout the market.
