They have wheat-free pancakes and waffles, bird friendly coffee, vegan biscuits and gravy, and even vegan wheat-free pizza. They sell handmade delicious breads in lots of varieties including sourdough, seven grain, walnut wheat, and more. The Bakery is a worker-owned cooperative and the staff is super friendly and fun.

Touchstone is unique in the sense that almost everything they bake is made with whole wheat flour. Understand that you need to have skill and that special touch to make whole wheat anything not taste puck-like. I like getting their croissants, spelt muffins, and especially their granola, a steal at $3.00/pound. It's a convenient stop as you're heading towards the Fremont bridge in the AM.
