This restaurant has changed over the years, but the food is still good. It used to be a cafeteria line with chatty staff, and the best mac and cheese on Wednesdays! They also used to have a really nice, sweet couscous. But, I digress - it has gotten too corporate for my taste, but I do still purchase the bread. I think their sourdough can't be beat!

I found this place by accident. Since I live on the Hill and work in South Seattle, I'm never downtown. But yesterday I had an appt. near Pioneer Square and when I had to go back today, I already knew what I wanted.
Yesterday I tried the Morning Glory Muffin (lots of yummy fruit and diced carrot) with a frizzy blackberry juice drink. Not too sweet or syrupy.
Today I had the Breakfast Bolo- egg and bacon on a grilled croissant with an iced chai. The sandwich was a little large for one meal and the croissant was a bit crispier than I like (next time I won't get it grilled), but with jam and relish on the side, it was tasty.
Great singles seating at small tables and a bar inside, and big windows looking onto Pioneer Square but there are bigger tables in the brick atrium if you are with a group.
