Like I wrote in google, I guess they must be under new management or something. I had their new master tech named Bob look at my car and determine whether I needed a new transmission since the two previous shops I'd been to both quoted me at 600-800 to replace the transmission. It turned out to not even be a transmission problem, and he was able to get my car fixed for just over $200... I'm glad I actually took a third opinion since every penny counts right now. I highly recommend their services. They're honest and it's been about 2 months now and she's running as smooth as ever! I'm now comparing break job prices and although they aren't cheaper at this time they're honest and do good work, I'm going to go back to them and let you all know :)

This shop excels at making a regular habit of turning what should be a fairly fast, straight-forward service into a 2-3 hour ordeal. They also managed to not get my car in for an oil change for over an hour - even after I'd made an appointment. They overcharge for simple maintenance, like replacing a lug nut on a tire ($90!!!). I am never going back here and will advise everyone I know to avoid it at all costs.

I had a very bad exerpience with Elliott Tires in West Seattle this weekend. Time is money. I made an appointment to bring my car in for a tire rotation on Saturday at 11am. I was told it would take two hours. I had not heard at 1:30pm, so I called to find out it would be done within the hour. When I heard nothing an hour later, I called and they said, "we'll call you". I finally went down to the store almost 5 hours later and they said "we told you by the end of the day". I had witnesses with me that heard the original promise of 2 hours. When I explained that I had a job I had to report to and was late, they handed me my car keys.
Either Elliott Tires doesn't realize that customer service is important to any business, no matter how successful you might think you are or they need to get customer service reps who know what scheduling is.
When telling a friend of mine about the experience, she explained she got taken for some expensive tires when she had gone there and only later found out she had paid too much.
Shame shame on Elliott Tires of West Seattle.
Thankfully Les Schwab knows what customer service is about.
Better look into better customer service.
